Striving To Be "Christ-Like"!

"You've got to stand with Me says God. Again, you've got to stand with Me. I'm God, and I'll fix everything that needs fixing, but you've got to stand with Me in this hour. Don't stray. Don't look at your surroundings. Look at Me, and I'll show you who I really am says God. You say you love Me, but I just don't hear your words says God. I look for action. I want to see that you still love Me, when you're tried and tested. You're going to be tested. It will prove your love for Me. Those who truly stand with Me in action and not just words, will stand and win. Oh, but those who walk away from My truth and don't worship Me in both spirit and truth will not have a life that ends in victory. I need action and not just words, in this hour says God. I have brought you this far, and I'll take you the rest of the way but you've got to stay on with Me. You can't abandon ship now. You've got to fight. It's a battle and it...

I never take for granted when God speaks to my heart and soul, His precious and timely words. Sometimes it's in the middle of praying, when I come out of praying, when I'm worshipping, when I'm listening to a sermon, when I'm studying and reading the Bible, or when I'm journaling... other times it's just when I'm laying in the quietness of my room. What a word He spoke to me so clearly tonight: "I am your God. I am in the midst of thee. I shall bring a wall of fire around you for protection. I am your God. I am in the midst of thee. I shall bring your healing. Come to me, and I will come to you with love and newness. I will bring forth newness in areas of your life, when you only thought those areas and situations were dead. I will breathe new life into those areas. Come unto me this day and remember that I am a wall of fire about you, and you have nothing now to fear. Your hungry soul I shall fill. I shall fill it with My comfort, love, healing, mercy,...

There is no such thing as praying too much. I know God is turning things around this week, even for me, right now because of the power of prayer... faithful prayer warriors who are praying without ceasing. We've got to get back to this way of praying. Oh, the Lord is wanting His children to realize we've got to get back to praying until we've prayed through. Those few words prayed over a need or one minute prayers prayed over someone ain't cutting it in this season we're living in (I'm preaching to myself on this too). The enemy is coming around more sly than ever these days with his lies and schemes, and we've got to get back in the mindset of praying until we've prayed through. I've been awaken from my sleep, many times over, to pray. I've prayed all night long before because of great needs on the behalf of others. I remember when others and myself would be in church altars praying an hour or longer. But, when I come out of those prayer times.....

God's Word, through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, speaks clearly to my heart and soul in this hour, and I know that it's not just for me. This is a word of encouragement. This is a word of direction for God's children to move forward. "Thus saith the Lord of Hosts, in this hour of distress do not fear. Come unto me for My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. For those who do not fear, for those who persevere, and for those who pray without ceasing, I will give you unspeakable joy. For those who do not fear in this hour, I will lift your burdens, I will move on your behalf, and I will place you under the covering of a fresh anointing. Again, do not fear my child, and you will see My glory, My love, and My power. Don't look at your troubles. Don't look at what's going on around you. Look unto me says the Lord, again look unto me says the Lord. I will give you peace and protection in this hour. You will see great things come to past, if you'll just co...
