I Bless Your Name!

God's presence is still so thick and tangible even as I am back home, from tonight's service. Oh Lord, I truly bless Your name. Let me never cease praising You for what You've brought me through. Let me tell you from personal experience, you don't have to be sitting in a church to receive healing and deliverance. God can touch you right where you are. I mean right now just from watching this service. God's power is moving. He's met me in the midnight hour at my home, in my bedroom many times, and reached down and healed me physically, in my body. He did it just this week for me at home. He's healed me in my mind. He's been faithful to do this for me more times then I can count. Oh, if you're in a prison in your mind. If you're bound tonight. If you need a healing touch. God is there to meet your every last need. I have felt the weight of oppression. I have felt it almost take my breath and try to smother me. But you must recognize that it is the work of the enemy. The enemy would like nothing more than to see you stay seated in defeated. But the God I have served and lived for, for 25 years now, is still a saving, restoring, delivering, and healing God. Keep praying. Keep pressing. Keep pushing. Keep persevering. Keep praising. He delivered me. God can do the same for you tonight. If you need peace in your mind... God is the peace giver, peace maker, and peace speaker! ♡

"Some midnight hour if you should find. You're in a prison in your mind. Reach out and praise, defy those chains. And they will fall in Jesus' name.

I bless Your name, I bless Your name. I give You honor, give You praise. You are the Life, the Truth, the Way. I bless Your name, we bless Your name."

8.21.2022 - 8.24.2022 • A "reconnect and reset trip" to the Great Smoky Mountains with my dear friend of 10 years, Susan. We haven't got to visit and see each other in a long while. We talk over the phone some. In 2012, we met while attending the same church, and connected instantly. We've held each other up in prayer, encouraged each other in the Lord, cried and laughed together, and worshipped together, as sisters in Christ should. Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate.
