Pray Until You Have Prayed Through!
There is no such thing as praying too much. I know God is turning things around this week, even for me, right now because of the power of prayer... faithful prayer warriors who are praying without ceasing. We've got to get back to this way of praying. Oh, the Lord is wanting His children to realize we've got to get back to praying until we've prayed through. Those few words prayed over a need or one minute prayers prayed over someone ain't cutting it in this season we're living in (I'm preaching to myself on this too). The enemy is coming around more sly than ever these days with his lies and schemes, and we've got to get back in the mindset of praying until we've prayed through. I've been awaken from my sleep, many times over, to pray. I've prayed all night long before because of great needs on the behalf of others. I remember when others and myself would be in church altars praying an hour or longer. But, when I come out of those prayer times... I had no doubt God had met needs and lifted burdens and heavy loads. What was needed, I (we) got! Is it easy? Sometimes by no means. Do you sometimes come out of prayer feeling exhausted and drained? Of course! But it's spiritual warfare, and it ain't meant to be easy, but it's worth it! You want to see lost loved ones saved, you want to see this country turn back to God, you want to see conviction of sins take place, you want to see deliverance, healing, miracles, and a mighty move of God happen... it's time to pray without ceasing, pray fervently and earnestly, pray until you've prayed through. It's time to cry out to Him in this hour. It's time to get in the trenches with each other and pray each other through. I know what prayer can do! Before the events begin leading up to His arrest and crucifixion, Jesus prayed so earnestly and with so much anguish that His sweat fell to the ground like drops of blood. When He arose from prayer and went back to His disciples, He found them asleep. Yes, they were asleep and exhausted with sorrow... but the time Jesus needed them the most (praying and interceding on His behalf) they were asleep. He told them to get up in pray, lest they not fall into temptation. (See Luke, Chapter 22). Too many of God's children are falling asleep on Jesus, when He needs us all praying earnestly in this hour!
