God Is Bigger!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the  earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”  Isaiah 55:8-9 

God sees what we don't. He does not think the way we think. He does not handle situations the way we think they should be handled, because He knows what's best. In the middle of this time of uncertainty ask yourself, am I looking at this through God’s eyes (with my spiritual eyes)? God sees the whole picture: beginning, middle, and end. Our physical view is limited. Our trust and faith must be in God. I'm so glad God sees what we don't, that He is continually working behind the scenes on our behalf to mold bad things into something good. I pray even in reading this, God fills your heart with encouragement and His perfect peace comforts your soul. 

Romans 15:13 "I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in HIM. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

There are a lot of things I don't understand. I know things can change without warning. There is a lot of uncertainty in life right now. However, there is one thing I know to be true and that is I love the Lord and He loves me... unconditionally. I know that I am saved. I know that I shall see Heaven as my eternal home one day, and that is all I need to know. 

I go to be every night knowing that GOD IS BIGGER, should the Lord tarry... I still know He is bigger! God is bigger than this virus pandemic, shutdowns, fear, panic, or lies surrounding it! That's what I keep my focus on!

Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh.
