Sometimes we can see, but we still aren’t seeing clearly.
In Mark 8, Jesus healed a blind man. After Jesus first touched him, the man looked up and said, “I see men as trees, walking.” He could see—but his vision was still blurry. So Jesus touched him again, and this time the man could see everything clearly.
Sometimes that is where we are spiritually.
Physical sight sees the problem.
Spiritual sight sees the God who is bigger than the problem.
Physical sight sees the Red Sea.
Spiritual sight sees a way through it.
Physical sight sees the giant.
Spiritual sight sees the victory God can give.
And sometimes we need to pray, “Jesus, touch my eyes again.”
Maybe we’re looking at the situation through disappointment, fear, hurt, or our own understanding. We see something—but we aren’t seeing it clearly from God’s perspective.
Lord, touch my eyes again. Help me not to see only what is happening around me. Give me spiritual sight to recognize what You are doing even when I don’t understand it.
Don’t let what your physical eyes see cause you to forget what God has said.
Sometimes we don’t need God to change what is in front of us first—we need Him to touch our eyes again so we can see it differently.
Jesus, touch my eyes again. I don’t just want to see—I want to see clearly. 🙏❤️
