🦋 💛 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” —
2nd Corinthians 5:7
All day today, August 30th 2026, I kept seeing yellow butterflies, and something about them caught my spirit. I couldn’t help but feel as though God was using something so simple and beautiful to remind me, “Keep believing. I am still working.”
A butterfly reminds us that transformation takes time. What once looked confined and hidden in a cocoon eventually emerges changed. And sometimes that is exactly how God works in our lives. We may not see what He is doing behind the scenes, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
I don’t have to know for certain whether every butterfly was a supernatural sign to receive the reminder it stirred in my heart: God is faithful. God is present. And I can trust Him with what I cannot yet see.
Maybe those little yellow butterflies were simply God using His creation to turn my attention back toward Him and remind me that change is coming, hope is alive, and He is still at work.
So today, I’m going to keep believing, keep trusting, and keep watching for God’s hand.
Something beautiful can come from a season that once felt hidden. 🦋💛

💛 God’s presence in the little things — creation can turn our attention toward the Creator. Psalm 19:1

And, even today, every yellow butterfly made me think of the late Dolly Parton. I didn't know her personally but I grew up on her music and stories. Sometimes God uses the simplest things in His beautiful creation to stir a memory in our hearts and remind us how precious—and brief—this life truly is. May we leave behind the same kind of footprints of kindness, generosity, faith, and love that continue speaking long after we are gone.
“The memory of the just is blessed.” — Proverbs 10:7
