Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
Sometimes God begins the new thing before we can even recognize it.
So don't give up because today's picture doesn't look like the promise God placed in your heart.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep worshiping.
Keep serving.
Keep walking.
Keep trusting God.
Because the God who brought you this far didn't bring you here to abandon you.
Where you are is not necessarily where you're going. Your present situation may be painful, but pain doesn't get the final word. Your present situation may be disappointing, but disappointment doesn't get the final word. Your present situation may look impossible, but impossibility doesn't get the final word.
GOD GETS THE FINAL WORD!
Philippians 1:6 reminds us that the One who began the good work is also faithful to finish it.
So when you can't see the ending, trust the Author. When you don't understand the chapter, trust the One holding the pen. And when your present situation tells you, “This is how your story ends,” remind yourself: “No! God isn't finished with me yet!”
