Peace of God!

"Peace of God" • I am praying over those affected during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic; especially with your job and income source, as well as other frustrations that come over the next few weeks from continued stay at home orders. Churches and funerals are still being affected. Someone needs peace when extended family/friends can't show their support & love in person during the loss of a loved one. Someone needs peace because they can't gather with their church congregation. Someone needs peace over their job/income. Someone needs peace, because they can't be by a relative's side while in the hospital or during surgery. Someone needs peace because they can't visit a family member in person either in another home or the nursing home/assisted living. Someone needs peace over their health. Someone needs peace over continuing to teach their children at home. Someone needs peace over their pregnancy during this uncertain time. I'm praying for God's peace to flood that someone's soul this very day! I just wanted to share my heart with y'all. I pray someone is encouraged through this word from God. I was talking low so turn the volume to max!

Faith Under Pressure!

Video Lesson on Daniel, from Daniel Chapter 2, King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream "Faith Under Pressure"

• Main Point: The Kingdom of God will last forever.

• Key Verse: "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom. It will never be destroyed... it will last forever". - Daniel 2:44

• Daniel, through no fault of his own, will find himself in a seemingly impossible situation with a death sentence hanging over his head. How did it get to this? Well, it involves God, a dream, and a cranky stressed-out king! In fact, everyone in this chapter will find themselves under some pretty intense pressure. And that’s what we are going to look at – Faith under pressure and the God of the Impossible.

• The purpose for Nebuchadnezzar – King Neb (for short) was the king of Babylon that had just defeated Israel. The purpose of the dream for this king is to remind him that all earthly kingdoms will be crushed and smashed, including his own, and that only the Lord’s kingdom is eternal. It was a dream specifically designed to put the fear of God into his heart! And it seemed to have worked! Stayed tuned for the following chapters though! All those that are ignoring God can learn from this!

• The purpose for Daniel – Daniel was a young man exiled in Babylon. Along with his friends and fellow Jewish exiles, he stood alone in a society that honoured foreign ‘gods’. But through this dream God was reminding Daniel that He was the One who was in control. He ordained the rise and fall of kingdoms. Though exiled, Daniel would have received tremendous encouragement to see the God of Israel firmly in control even down in Babylon! We too can learn and take heart from this as we live in a world that seems to no longer honor God.

• The purpose for Babylon’s wise men and on-lookers – God was showing them who the true God is. He was showing them that all their wisdom, ‘gods’ and everything that they placed their hope in amounted to nothing. They would be shown up by a young Israelite boy whose God, unlike theirs, was alive and in control!

• The purpose for all today – This God-given dream that Nebuchadnezzar had accurately listed the world empires that would rise (and fall) from that day down to the return of Jesus Christ. What an amazing dream! What an amazing God who declares the end from the beginning! Believers can look at this and know that God is in control despite the chaos of world events. They can know that it is all building for the grand finale where the stone cut without human hands (the Lord Jesus) smashes the kingdoms of the world and establishes His own on this planet. Come Lord Jesus!

• Name changes - I failed to mention in video but Daniel's three friends are the same, and I apologize for not explaining that correctly in the video. Here is the explanation: All four of these Hebrew names had meanings connected to faith in God. But upon arrival in Babylon, their names were changed: “The chief official [of Babylon] gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego” (Daniel 1:7). The boys’ names were changed as a way of encouraging them to forget the God and traditions of their homeland and become conformed to the ways and gods of Babylon. However, God kept these young men alive, even though they refused to conform to the indoctrination, diet, and religion of Babylon. I think this is an important reminder that it only matters what God calls us by, not the enemy or people of this world.

Value Your Assignment!

Even at the beginning of February 2020, I believe those 'mini blindsides', I call them now, that I went through that month on into the beginning of March with surgery and three radiation treatments, that God was preparing me for a bigger blindside that was coming. Through those miserable meltdown blindsides previously had, this one would only bring me calmness and assurance (the COVID-19 virus pandemic I now know is that very blindside that has happened). But GOD said that He would use it to restore, refresh, renew, rebuild, reset our lives, etc. I have heard this in my spirit: "spiritual reset". And the verse that I have heard over and over through this is: Exodus 14:13 - And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will work for you today."... I invite you to take the time to listen to the message at the link below.

Faithful God!

I kept hearing "Faithful God" and I started searching through my videos. I, of course, don't remember everything I share on social media... but I found this word from almost four years ago and my how relevant it is for the hour we're living in! I was thinking, I couldn't even remember what devastation was taking place in our country when I shared this word? I had to google and that was when so many mass shootings were happening. He is truly forever a Faithful God. The same peace and protection He gave during other times of uncertainty is ours today. I can't praise Him enough for the hedge of protection He has faithfully placed around me (us) in times past and even now! ♡ video in link:

God Will Win The Battle!

"Daniel's End Time Vision, Chapters 10, 11, 12"

I tell you the enemy has fought me about uploading this lesson, but he's already been 100% defeated and will never win! Between the storm Sunday morning and almost 3 days without power, to the wifi being knocked off with Wednesday night and Thursday's storms, to having to piece this video together; it's finally uploded! Let's always persevere! I encourage you to save it and listen to it later, if you can't listen right when you first see it in your newsfeed. If one person is blessed, encouraged, saved, changed, etc. ...IT IS WORTH IT!

• Overall: The battle may look chaotic. We may suffer in the process. God’s people in other parts of the world may suffer immensely. Behind all of this, there may be forces we cannot even see, battling it out, angels fighting on our behalf in the spiritual realm. But we do not need to worry. We can sleep easy at night. Jesus is risen from the dead. He’s seated on the throne, far above every earthly and spiritual power. Evil will be destroyed. There may be days of terrible distress to come, but if your name is in God’s book of life, you could not be more secure. You could not be more safe. God’s people will be delivered. God will raise the dead. God will win the battle.

• Be wise. Be faithful. There’s a group in chapter 11 of Daniel who are called “the wise”. Chapter 11, verse 33: “Those who are wise will instruct many.” Chapter 12, verse 3: “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens.” Life will contain many ups and downs. Be wise and faithful to the end and receive your heavenly inheritance.

• As always, I encourage you to dig in and study the word yourself, in addition to listening to any teachings and sermons, etc. That's not encouraged just during this quarantine, but all of the time.

• I will upload lessons each week, since I'm unable to teach Sunday School right now. I want to keep myself in the Word and in the habit of studying and preparing lessons. I think it is vital to not become spiritually lazy during this continued time of social distancing.

• This lesson includes theological studies of comparing Antiochus & Anitchrist, other end time and tribulation explanations, including the mark of the beast (my beliefs and interpretations upon praying and studying based upon scripture given to us in the Bible that is clearly stated). Antiochus & Antichrist are said to be the ones referenced in Daniel's vision from Chapter 11 - Kings of the South & North.

• This lesson also reminds us how important it is to pray until the answer comes and be rapture ready.

• I'm reading from the books of Daniel and Revelation, out of the New Living Translation, in this video.

• Lesson Date/Upload: 4.24.2020 (You will probably need to turn the volume to max to hear this, found at the link below.)

There is Purpose in this Season!

"There is purpose in this season and in trials"

DON’T LET SATAN STOP YOU WHEN SERVING CHRIST GETS TOUGH! Stand firm in Christ and still allow God to use you, even when times are tough, just as most pastors and teachers have been doing during this virus pandemic by offering online services and lessons.

Video lesson from 1 Thessalonians Chps. 2-3

A. Paul was having trials. He couldn't be with the church, because of fleeing from persecution.

1. He didn't quit. He sent his brother in Christ, Timothy, to speak on his behalf. He wrote letters to the church.
2. Now, even during this trial of social distancing, let's continue to make an effort to minister to each other.

B. Paul expected to have trials.

1. Every aspect of our lives will have trials.
2. We shouldn't expect that our service for Christ would be any different; we're serving in a world incompatible with Christ.

C. If satan is successful in stopping us with tough times, it frees him up to work on those God has placed in our path to minister to.

1. In this lesson, the Thessalonian church for Paul.
2. That's why I'm being obedient in using my facebook as a ministry tool. Through videos and written posts.

D. Satan’s strategy is to “unsettle” us.

1. If Paul allowed his circumstances to stop him, then satan was free to attack the church directly.
2. We should follow Paul's example during this time.

*Note: I made an error in the video lesson by accident, and I wanted to correct it. It's so easy to get bible stories and people mixed up sometimes. Anyway, I referred to angel being sent to set Paul and Silas free from jail, from Acts 16. But that was an earthquake that shook the walls lose to lead to their release. They did lead the jail guard (watchman) to Christ. An angel was sent to free Peter from jail in Acts 12.
