Peace of God!

"Peace of God" • I am praying over those affected during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic; especially with your job and income source, as well as other frustrations that come over the next few weeks from continued stay at home orders. Churches and funerals are still being affected. Someone needs peace when extended family/friends can't show their support & love in person during the loss of a loved one. Someone needs peace because they can't gather with their church congregation. Someone needs peace over their job/income. Someone needs peace, because they can't be by a relative's side while in the hospital or during surgery. Someone needs peace because they can't visit a family member in person either in another home or the nursing home/assisted living. Someone needs peace over their health. Someone needs peace over continuing to teach their children at home. Someone needs peace over their pregnancy during this uncertain time. I'm praying for God's peace to flood that someone's soul this very day! I just wanted to share my heart with y'all. I pray someone is encouraged through this word from God. I was talking low so turn the volume to max!

Faith Under Pressure!

Video Lesson on Daniel, from Daniel Chapter 2, King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream "Faith Under Pressure"

• Main Point: The Kingdom of God will last forever.

• Key Verse: "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom. It will never be destroyed... it will last forever". - Daniel 2:44

• Daniel, through no fault of his own, will find himself in a seemingly impossible situation with a death sentence hanging over his head. How did it get to this? Well, it involves God, a dream, and a cranky stressed-out king! In fact, everyone in this chapter will find themselves under some pretty intense pressure. And that’s what we are going to look at – Faith under pressure and the God of the Impossible.

• The purpose for Nebuchadnezzar – King Neb (for short) was the king of Babylon that had just defeated Israel. The purpose of the dream for this king is to remind him that all earthly kingdoms will be crushed and smashed, including his own, and that only the Lord’s kingdom is eternal. It was a dream specifically designed to put the fear of God into his heart! And it seemed to have worked! Stayed tuned for the following chapters though! All those that are ignoring God can learn from this!

• The purpose for Daniel – Daniel was a young man exiled in Babylon. Along with his friends and fellow Jewish exiles, he stood alone in a society that honoured foreign ‘gods’. But through this dream God was reminding Daniel that He was the One who was in control. He ordained the rise and fall of kingdoms. Though exiled, Daniel would have received tremendous encouragement to see the God of Israel firmly in control even down in Babylon! We too can learn and take heart from this as we live in a world that seems to no longer honor God.

• The purpose for Babylon’s wise men and on-lookers – God was showing them who the true God is. He was showing them that all their wisdom, ‘gods’ and everything that they placed their hope in amounted to nothing. They would be shown up by a young Israelite boy whose God, unlike theirs, was alive and in control!

• The purpose for all today – This God-given dream that Nebuchadnezzar had accurately listed the world empires that would rise (and fall) from that day down to the return of Jesus Christ. What an amazing dream! What an amazing God who declares the end from the beginning! Believers can look at this and know that God is in control despite the chaos of world events. They can know that it is all building for the grand finale where the stone cut without human hands (the Lord Jesus) smashes the kingdoms of the world and establishes His own on this planet. Come Lord Jesus!

• Name changes - I failed to mention in video but Daniel's three friends are the same, and I apologize for not explaining that correctly in the video. Here is the explanation: All four of these Hebrew names had meanings connected to faith in God. But upon arrival in Babylon, their names were changed: “The chief official [of Babylon] gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego” (Daniel 1:7). The boys’ names were changed as a way of encouraging them to forget the God and traditions of their homeland and become conformed to the ways and gods of Babylon. However, God kept these young men alive, even though they refused to conform to the indoctrination, diet, and religion of Babylon. I think this is an important reminder that it only matters what God calls us by, not the enemy or people of this world.

Value Your Assignment!

Even at the beginning of February 2020, I believe those 'mini blindsides', I call them now, that I went through that month on into the beginning of March with surgery and three radiation treatments, that God was preparing me for a bigger blindside that was coming. Through those miserable meltdown blindsides previously had, this one would only bring me calmness and assurance (the COVID-19 virus pandemic I now know is that very blindside that has happened). But GOD said that He would use it to restore, refresh, renew, rebuild, reset our lives, etc. I have heard this in my spirit: "spiritual reset". And the verse that I have heard over and over through this is: Exodus 14:13 - And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will work for you today."... I invite you to take the time to listen to the message at the link below.

Faithful God!

I kept hearing "Faithful God" and I started searching through my videos. I, of course, don't remember everything I share on social media... but I found this word from almost four years ago and my how relevant it is for the hour we're living in! I was thinking, I couldn't even remember what devastation was taking place in our country when I shared this word? I had to google and that was when so many mass shootings were happening. He is truly forever a Faithful God. The same peace and protection He gave during other times of uncertainty is ours today. I can't praise Him enough for the hedge of protection He has faithfully placed around me (us) in times past and even now! ♡ video in link:

God Will Win The Battle!

"Daniel's End Time Vision, Chapters 10, 11, 12"

I tell you the enemy has fought me about uploading this lesson, but he's already been 100% defeated and will never win! Between the storm Sunday morning and almost 3 days without power, to the wifi being knocked off with Wednesday night and Thursday's storms, to having to piece this video together; it's finally uploded! Let's always persevere! I encourage you to save it and listen to it later, if you can't listen right when you first see it in your newsfeed. If one person is blessed, encouraged, saved, changed, etc. ...IT IS WORTH IT!

• Overall: The battle may look chaotic. We may suffer in the process. God’s people in other parts of the world may suffer immensely. Behind all of this, there may be forces we cannot even see, battling it out, angels fighting on our behalf in the spiritual realm. But we do not need to worry. We can sleep easy at night. Jesus is risen from the dead. He’s seated on the throne, far above every earthly and spiritual power. Evil will be destroyed. There may be days of terrible distress to come, but if your name is in God’s book of life, you could not be more secure. You could not be more safe. God’s people will be delivered. God will raise the dead. God will win the battle.

• Be wise. Be faithful. There’s a group in chapter 11 of Daniel who are called “the wise”. Chapter 11, verse 33: “Those who are wise will instruct many.” Chapter 12, verse 3: “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens.” Life will contain many ups and downs. Be wise and faithful to the end and receive your heavenly inheritance.

• As always, I encourage you to dig in and study the word yourself, in addition to listening to any teachings and sermons, etc. That's not encouraged just during this quarantine, but all of the time.

• I will upload lessons each week, since I'm unable to teach Sunday School right now. I want to keep myself in the Word and in the habit of studying and preparing lessons. I think it is vital to not become spiritually lazy during this continued time of social distancing.

• This lesson includes theological studies of comparing Antiochus & Anitchrist, other end time and tribulation explanations, including the mark of the beast (my beliefs and interpretations upon praying and studying based upon scripture given to us in the Bible that is clearly stated). Antiochus & Antichrist are said to be the ones referenced in Daniel's vision from Chapter 11 - Kings of the South & North.

• This lesson also reminds us how important it is to pray until the answer comes and be rapture ready.

• I'm reading from the books of Daniel and Revelation, out of the New Living Translation, in this video.

• Lesson Date/Upload: 4.24.2020 (You will probably need to turn the volume to max to hear this, found at the link below.)

There is Purpose in this Season!

"There is purpose in this season and in trials"

DON’T LET SATAN STOP YOU WHEN SERVING CHRIST GETS TOUGH! Stand firm in Christ and still allow God to use you, even when times are tough, just as most pastors and teachers have been doing during this virus pandemic by offering online services and lessons.

Video lesson from 1 Thessalonians Chps. 2-3

A. Paul was having trials. He couldn't be with the church, because of fleeing from persecution.

1. He didn't quit. He sent his brother in Christ, Timothy, to speak on his behalf. He wrote letters to the church.
2. Now, even during this trial of social distancing, let's continue to make an effort to minister to each other.

B. Paul expected to have trials.

1. Every aspect of our lives will have trials.
2. We shouldn't expect that our service for Christ would be any different; we're serving in a world incompatible with Christ.

C. If satan is successful in stopping us with tough times, it frees him up to work on those God has placed in our path to minister to.

1. In this lesson, the Thessalonian church for Paul.
2. That's why I'm being obedient in using my facebook as a ministry tool. Through videos and written posts.

D. Satan’s strategy is to “unsettle” us.

1. If Paul allowed his circumstances to stop him, then satan was free to attack the church directly.
2. We should follow Paul's example during this time.

*Note: I made an error in the video lesson by accident, and I wanted to correct it. It's so easy to get bible stories and people mixed up sometimes. Anyway, I referred to angel being sent to set Paul and Silas free from jail, from Acts 16. But that was an earthquake that shook the walls lose to lead to their release. They did lead the jail guard (watchman) to Christ. An angel was sent to free Peter from jail in Acts 12.

Year 36!

"Year 36" • At the end of my birthday, I have been thinking of everything the Lord has brought me through. I mean 36 surgeries/procedures (one already this year with radiation treatments), multiple hospitalizations not pertaining to those surgeries, deep depression that eventually led to hospitalization, loss of loved ones, graduating college with honors while extremely sick, multiple diagnosis' of incurable diseases, being a caregiver, and the list could go on... but God... He has brought me through it all VICTORIOUS and healed me more times than I count.

Most of those years of pain and hurt are only blurs to me now. I am confident of who I am in HIM... I continually overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of my testimony! I'm most thankful that I continue to grow in Him, that I've went through the refiners fire more than once, and though painful at those times, I laid down sins and habits and separated myself from the ways of this sinful world. Praise God, I finally grasped and understood the concept and necessity of sanctification. I am thankful for the ministry opportunities He's given me since I was 13 years old, the year I got saved. I've had life changing ministry moments. I've made life changing friends. I'm thankful for all of the lessons learned with the ones only in my life for a season, reason, or lesson. I'm thankful for the forgiveness and grace freely given to me. I know everything that I've come through and all of the healing I've experienced on this side of Glory thus far, is only because Jesus chose to take the cross in my place. I'm just looking for more opportunities to minister for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... as I continue growing in Him, serving, worshipping, praising, and living for Him. Best all, I'm even closer to seeing Him face to face!

I've been knocked down, trampled on, buried up to my neck in trials and struggles, sickness and surgeries throughout my life. I don't remember everything, actually going thru every surgery and recovery and all the pain. I just know God brought me through it all and HEALED me of so much, and that I shall never forge! I do remember some days it seemed as if I would never escape from the chains of despair, depression, fear, and anxiety that tightened around me or sickness that had me bed bound... but God! Here I am with strongholds broken, chains gone, and healing received.

Year 36: I am still standing, still fighting, still climbing, still praying, still praising, still singing, still glorifying, still trusting, still believing, still thanking, still lifting my eyes to God where my help comes from; He is the source of my strength. I want to encourage you tonight to NEVER give up. The verse the Lord showed me thru all of my years of sickness without a break; the 8 years I went through before I saw a full year  one surgery or hospitalization, is for you too... 2 Kings 20:5 says, "I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears, behold I will HEAL thee!" My motto: You may see me struggle, but you'll never see me quit!

At almost midnight, I am truly not bummed about not being to celebrate my birthday in a public setting, because I still have my parents by my side and that's the best gift I could receive. I have no complaints of being inside, because I have more than I could ever need with the latest technology, but best of all I have His Word! I'm blessed beyond measure!

"You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary." ~ Revelation 2:3

Would the Word of God Still Be Enough!

This! We've truly become a spoiled society! Wake up! Give me a hymn book and a Bible; what I have during this time at home! Quiet time with the Lord, as He pours so much into me about the need to just strip it all away to get us back to the Word! ♡ I saw this photo around the same time I saw a post about a lady interviewed in a third world country. No fancy home or air conditioner, hardly any food, rags for clothes, no shoes. She was holding the Bible, reading it. Her words: "I read this Bible everyday, it's all I need to get me through!" Wow!

I guess the Lord temporarily took these things away, but His Word surely is still enough for me!

Social Distancing!

Since social distancing begin, I have talked to God daily and trusted only in what His Word says. I have daily received His peace, and I want to praise Him for that. Oh, He continues to wrap His loving and assuring arms around me, pushing any fear of the enemy out. I have always got more attention from the Lord than I ever have from the government. He's faithful to give me full attention anytime I call on Him! #TrustHim #HaveFaith

God's River of Healing!

Ezekiel Chp. 47 "River of Healing"-Ezekiel's Vision

First, I continue to praise God for His hand of protection over my family during this COVID-19 pandemic. Secondly, during this time when church buildings are closed, God has been pouring into me. I've dug into His word in a new and fresh way; my prayer is that more growth is taking place in my life. Truly, a season is taking place where I am learning what it means, as the prophet Ezekiel did, to eat and digest the word of God, knowing it tastes sweeter than honey. I think it is also a challenge for believers to not become spiritually lazy, as well as taking the time to read and hear for ourselves; what thus says the Lord of Hosts. I know how important church is, I've been in it my whole life. It will be a blessing to congregate again in the church building. I'm thankful for the the effort of the pastors, teachers, leaders, and technology team doing what they can to feed their flock amid COVID-19.
Thirdly, I invite you to listen to this lesson on Ezekiel's vision of the river that flowed outside of the temple wall; beyond the temple. A place where we can learn what it truly means to live holy and set apart for God (sanctification); a place where He can help us to overcome disobedience unto Him and to present ourselves a living sacrifice. Scripture: Chp. 47 of the book of Ezekiel. Below, are more thoughts I would like to share with you, not be mentioned in the video.

The Holy Spirit's powerful revelation of what can take place outside of a church building? • Outside of those 4 walls; healing, salvation, prayer, and transformation can still take place in the lives of so many. A spiritual river of healing available to you right where you are; 24/7/365. There are so many false teachings going on within church buildings today. I can see how people have become so fixated and rely only on what is stated behind a pulpit, without picking up a Bible and checking to see if it lines up with the Word.

What the Holy Spirit is showing me? • I believe we can get very comfortable with something (i.e. a church building or all the activities surrounding it), to the point of when it's taken away, (even temporarily), we are lost or don't know how to carry on as a believer? There have been many long periods in my life when I couldn't get to church because of sickness or caregiving duties, and God was still there in His intimate love and power to meet with me; I'm thankful for that even now. I am thankful that God is no respecter of persons, and during this time He can open our eyes to see things from a new and fresh perspective, if we allow Him to. I know He has got me alone with Him, more than once in His time and way, when I refused to give Him the time He deserved. That is when you truly understand what it means to "Be still and know that He is God."

So, what happens if a second wave of this virus comes again in the Fall and Winter and we enter back into a quarantine time or social distancing continues of 10 or less people for an extended period? • This week, I was thinking how as an adult, I am able to feed myself physical food. During this time so many don't have access to an online weekly church video to watch nor are they able to go to a drive in church service, and they are learning how imperative it is to dive into the word and spiritually feed themselves through prayer, study, and even fasting. Learning to worship God right there in the sanctuary of the home. If this isn't for anybody else but me, well that's okay, but we are a spoiled society that have become too comfortable with the church building. I was seeing visions, of what I believe to be were other parts of the world where there were no church buildings, but how hungry they were for God. Seeking Him, praying to Him, singing to Him, and soaking in His presence. They were no doubt spiritually swimming in God's purified river of healing.

What's the deal with swamps and marshes? • I was thinking how sometimes the swamps and marshes (these weren't purified in Ezekiel's vision, but stayed salty), can sometimes be what we focus on in our life instead of stepping into God's healing river where our thoughts can remain on Him and not the worries, fear, busyness, or rituals. Stepping into the river causes a focus shift where we can continaully think on those pure, lovely, true, and holy thoughts. Where the river of God goes and takes me, is where I want to always be.  I wonder if Ezekiel looked around him in his vision and saw abundant life springing up wherever the river went. Even the “Salt Sea”, which I understand to refer to the Dead Sea, became fresh when the River of Life touched it. Ezekiel saw this transformation. He saw life springing up where previously there was none; except for the marshes and swamps. To the people of Ezekiel’s day, I suspect that swamps and marshes were essentially a worthless piece of land. But the Holy Spirit also revealed this to me: It's hard to walk through swamps, you can't grow good fruit in them, and you can't drink the water. We have to look beyond that to see what's really happening (spiritual realm). Ezekiel looks at the swamps and marshes; he sees that they are not becoming fresh. I wonder if he scratched his head and asked, “Why doesn’t the river touch the swamps and marshes to heal them? Why aren’t they made fresh and useful like all these other places? Why are they left for salt?” These verses show that the swamps and marshes won’t become fresh. The will be left for salt. This shows an intentionality in leaving those seemingly useless pieces of land in their swampy, marshy condition. There is a reason those areas are not touched.

Why Leave the Swamps Be? • Upon further study, the wetlands - the swamps and marshes -  serve an important function of a filter between fresh water rivers and the salty ocean. The life that abounds in both the rivers and oceans would be threatened if they came in direct contact. Swamps and marshes are necessary in an ecological sense.

What it boils down to? • The church building doesn't make us holy nor does it save, transform or heal us; that is all done through and by the power of God once we step into His presence; His purified and holy river. I know that seems common sense doesn't it, but you wouldn't believe the conversations I have had with people in my life (I've even had them with myself more times then I can count), that started like this... "Well, if I could just get to church, I could get what I need from God?"...when He's waiting on you to step into His river of healing right where you are. If I had to wait one or two days a week to get a word from God or what I needed from Him, I believe I would be in quite a spiritual mess. Just like the swamps and marshes actually can serve as a filter system, I know that church can help keep us in check, but it is what happens beyond that building (those walls) in the river of God that is life changing. There are people who sit on a church pew (chair now a days) every week and never get saved or have a transformation, etc. They haven't tapped into what can take place in their life if they would just wade on out in that river! Everyday, I am doing my best to stay in His river! What we really need now, more than ever, is His Holy presence, and that can be found wherever we are in this moment.

I continue to pray over so much during this time and lost souls are at the top of the list! If you need encouragement or have a prayer request, don't hesitate to send me a message. ♡

Ezekiel's Call!

"Ezekiel's Call" from Chapters 1-3 video lesson▪︎God's shown me the importance of not getting lazy, because I'm not able to teach Sunday School at the nursing home. I should be studying/providing lessons, even if it's through the internet. I'm afraid of the spiritual laziness that could result from this social distancing. I'm challenging myself to post on what I'm studying.

Through studying Ezekiel again, I am sharing a video of my 30 minute teaching on "Ezekiel's Call". YouTube link is at the end of this post. I hope you can take the time to listen to it, and God speaks to you and encourages you through this. The main theme of the Book of Ezekiel, although not the only one, is the restoration of Israel, a nation that had turned to rebellion and sin. Ezekiel, through what seemed a bizarre vision, was called to warn the people that Jerusalem would be turned to rubble and terror. And it was coming soon. Ezekiel Chapter 2 and 3 begins to record what God said to Ezekiel as part of his vision of God’s glory (see Ezekiel Chapter 1). In a way, these chapters contain his “mission call.” As you read the way the Lord described Ezekiel’s mission and the people he was called to teach, consider how the prophet of God calls a missionary today.

Understanding the Scriptures and wording used:

Ezekiel 2
Impudent (v. 4)
Proud

Forbear (vv. 5, 7)
Refuse to listen and obey

Briers and thorns (v. 6)
Prickly weeds (a symbol for the trouble people might give Ezekiel when he delivers his messages)

Scorpions (v. 6)
Poisonous creature (a symbol of wicked people that Ezekiel will preach to)

Dismayed (v. 6)
Afraid

Lamentations, mourning, woe (v. 10)
Sadness

Ezekiel 2:9–10 to 3:1–3; —The Lord Asked Ezekiel to Eat a Scroll *The description of Ezekiel eating a scroll could be a symbolic one representing his calling to teach the Lord’s word by literally making the word of God part of his being; digesting the word of God which is our spiritual nourishment. The book of Revelation records a time when the Apostle John had a similar experience (see Revelation 10).

Ezekiel 3

Hearkened, hearken (vv. 6–7)
Listened and obeyed

Heat (v. 14)
Anger

Watchman (v. 17)
A man standing on the wall of a city watching for enemies and warning the people in the city

But his blood will I require at thine hand (vv. 18, 20)
You will be held responsible for his sins

Delivered (vv. 19, 21)
Saved

I lay a stumblingblock before him (v. 20)
I cause him to fall

Cleave (v. 26)
Stick

Dumb (v. 26)
Unable to speak

Reprover (v. 26)
One who corrects another

I know in my life when I feel called to do something, like teach a class or work in a ministry, I am more confident in the abilities God has given me to use in whatever the capacity is. People are called by different methods. Ezekiel was called through a vision. You might be called through a whisper, a mighty voice from God, or a quiet communication from the Holy Spirit.

•God wants our lives to be committed to Him before He can show us His plans.

•God does have a plan for our lives.

•God can (and most likely will) change or modify our plans so we will go in the direction of His will for us.

•God calls all believers to make disciples.

•God will provide open doors, but we must actively look for them.

•God wants us to ask Him for direction, guidance, and wisdom.

It is through reading our Bible, listening to the Holy Spirit, and waiting on God in prayer we will know what to do, where to go, how to get there, and how to act. We must patiently watch for doors of ministry to open. When God is calling us to do something for Him, He will do what is needed to get accomplish His purpose.

{God will: Confirm His will, Get us into position, Change our plans if necessary, and Get us going in the right direction}

I wish I could say it is always a pleasant experience. Sometimes it is, but in Ezekiel’s case, obeying his call to service wasn’t an easy ride for him, but being obedient to God was more important to him than his personal comfort—as it should be for us too! We aren't comfortable right now, by any means, during this COVID-19 pandemic but God is still calling me (us) to minister to others in anyway possible. I choose to use this blog page as a platform. Again, I (we) cannot afford to get out of the habit of studying and sharing God's word during this stay-at-home order. I haven't got to teach Sunday School since March 1st, 2020. I haven't got to sit inside a church sanctuary for a church service since March 15, 2020. But, I refuse to let the enemy win during this time. Let's dig in and encourage and teach each other through the power of technology, and use it for God's glory! I believe God is wanting a restoration of our nation to take place, before His return.

I'll be studying and uploading a lesson by the weekend on the last 3 chapters of the book of Daniel-10, 11, 12. Titled: "End Times Prophetic Panorama".

Robotic Rituals!

"Robotic Rituals"

Today was Resurrection Day; a day of great celebration for Christian believers yet this year brought somber weather, a somber tone, and empty churches. By 7pm tonight, I continued to feel that very somber tone, yet I knew in my spirit it had nothing to do with this virus pandemic. It was something deeper than that. As I begin to pray about this, I could picture the situations that happened after Jesus walked out of that grave! It is definitely a great day of celebration, but I begin to think about how they accused His grave of being rob and His body being stolen. I was reminded of doubting Thomas and how He refused to believe it was actually Jesus, alive and resurrected, standing in the disciples midst until he could physically see the nail prints, and feel the hole in Jesus' side. I realize, through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I have felt the after effects of what Jesus felt; the grieving of the Holy Spirit. Christians celebrate the Risen Savior, but we never stop to think of the doubting that not only takes place of this event but follows it (at least until this year I haven't felt or thought about it to this extent).

My time of quarantine has brought spiritual enlightenment to my life like never before. This Holy Week, I've felt and sensed things Jesus, Himself, felt. We don't feel the agony that was felt even after the grave, in that no matter what is said or done there will still be many who refuse to believe in Him and the finished work at the Cross and continually doubt, because they can't see with their physical eyes what's taking place. Even if it was just for one person to be saved, Jesus would have died. However, think of the sorrowful, unspeakable pain and agony in what Jesus went through on the way to the cross, on the cross, and after the cross (going to hell in our place and taking the keys to death, hell, and the grave). Today, I have felt the disappointment Jesus felt of the doubting and unbelief that would follow once He walked out of the grave.

[John 20:25-29 = 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”]

I'm thankful for my spiritual reset and preparation that's taking place in my life. I shared of a dream, in a post yesterday, but I felt led to share it again. I had a vivid dream during this Holy Week, about this Easter season, about Jesus as He was dying on the cross. I couldn't see His face, oh but I could see that body dragging the biggest cross up a steep hill. I could feel the weight of the cross. I was telling this other man to stop, yelling for him to not drive those nails into the feet of Jesus. Yet, he said that He couldn't stop, because it was his job. When he started driving that nail, I literally felt it going through my skin and bones, screaming and crying to wake up. That was suppose to be me on the cross. From afar as the nailing continued, I could see Easter bunnies, egg hunts, the fancy matching outfits, church dramas, people auditioning for the lead part to sing at the church service, big productions, I could hear the well rehearsed Easter sermon being delivered and ringing loudly in my ear, I could see people looking at their watches sitting in church, I could read their mind as they were saying, when will this be over because I've got to get home to eat and take our yearly family pictures. Then I heard this so loudly before I woke up, "it's just become nothing more than a 'robotic' ritual". He longs for a spiritual reset to take place! He longs for superficial acting to stop! It appears to be a real relationship on the outside exterior, until examined more closely. He is calling us back into complete faith and unity with Him.

Time stood still in that dream for me, I was struggling to breath, I was crying, begging to wake up. Still I felt the pain of that nail, the grieving of the Son of God. Easter 2020 did not bring those "traditions of Easter", but nothing about that "traditions of Easter" dream was fun for me. I woke up ashamed, yet thanking God and crying out, "thank You God for not only continuing to spare my life, but for allowing Your only Son to take my place when it should've been my cross to die on, and for stopping the Easter traditions "the 'robotic' rituals" this year".

See, it was just Jesus, me and my immediately family this Easter day [where 2 or 3 are gathered in His, He is there too]. I had a special devotion time with my parents, I loved on Jesus and He loved on me, I soaked in His holy presence, praised Him, sung to Him, and I wasn't hurried as I truly celebrated the Resurrection of Christ minus any of the robotic rituals that I usually go through. I had that intimate, precious time with Him that He longs for with each of His children. God is continuing to work on my church; (my church means "myself", not a building). You are the church God's looking to come back for without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. The church is each individual's walk with Christ. It goes back to that Sunday School song I grew up on, "He's still working on me, to make me what I ought to be... how loving and patient He must be, He's still working on me".

In Christ,

The Modern Church Is Today's Tower of Babel!

"The modern church is today's Tower of Babel"!

It's a long read, so keep scrolling if you don't want to read it. If you don't agree with what I'm sharing, well keep on scrolling, because I wouldn't call this a "popular" read for today's society, but then again take it up with the Lord because this is straight from His Holy Word. God has prepared me to be His mouthpiece, and lots of times people, meaning "the church", don't want their toes stepped on. Oh, but getting my toes stepped on is what's kept me growing and going in the Lord. I sit through what people would call now as those "boring sermons or songs or services" growing up and those very "boring" things are what's shaped and molded me into the child of God I am today. The anointing and realness that broke the yoke of sin and loosed the bands of adversity and sickness. The anointing that kept the church separated from the "ways and looks" of the world. I grew up on that. I can tell what's real from what's nothing more than a gimmick. It boils down to sanctification teachings being omitted.

I've prayed and sought the Lord all day about sharing this. In fact, I've posted and deleted this several times, because it's not easy and can be very intimidating to share such a bold word as this one, on social media or any public forum. I know everyone likes different styles of Christian music, so please know I'm not knocking that, it's just the way it is presented now that is becoming a concern in my spirit. I love hymns, Southern Gospel, contemporary, praise and worship styles. I love those times of much needed laughter from a Christian comedian that can refresh our discouraged soul. But when it comes down to truly presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and delivering His Holy Word through song or message or teachings; there's no reason for it to be delivered as entertainment nor for it to look exactly like something of the world? I heard in my spirit, "if you go to a Christian event, you should never have to question if it's really truly Christian or not!?" I might be accused of judging because that's the go to, when people feel convicted. But I'm not called to be popular or sugar coat God's Word. God is tired of the compromise, playing church, and entertainment aspects that have seeped in and took over the modern church!

The Tower of Babel brought much confusion. Read the story in Genesis, chapter 11. The tower was named The Tower of Babel because the word Babel means confusion. This story is a powerful reminder of how important it is to obey God's Word and to not think that we can build a successful but godless life on our own!

Church services and Christian concerts or special events are slapping the "Christian" label onto it these days, yet it looks no different than the world, and I see it bringing utter confusion, in which God has brought all these social gatherings to a standstill.

I didn't sleep at all last night on into 4/11/2020, because I was so grieved in my spirit as God was speaking how He's brought everything to a halt for a spiritual purpose, to teach His people what it truly means to "separate yourself" from among the world. I still fill such a heaviness in my spirit today, that almost takes my breath.

You can talk to me until you're blue in the face, but you'll never get me to agree about how this is done to only be revelant to this new generation. The new ways aren't working, why do you think that God's used the evilness of a virus to bring all entertainment avenues to a halt!?

It's no longer about "being revelant" to a younger generation, it is about the spiritual reprocutions that this "new relevancy" is bringing as the Chrisitan groups, churches, etc. move more and more into an entertainment "ministry". The Holy Spirit is so grieved. God isn't pleased. For over a week, I have heard this: "spiritual reset", along with these words, "I'm trying saith the Lord of Hosts to bring the 'superficial' ones back into complete unity and holiness with me".

Superficial means "appearing to be true or real only until examined more closely." It's seemingly becoming superficial services, songs, conferences, etc. An important teaching in the Bible is about believers being separated from sin and the ungodly activities of the world as much as possible. It is taught all throughout the Old Testament. God’s people, particularly Israel, were to keep their distance from the heathen so they would not be exposed or tempted by the ungodly’s involvement in sin. Not saying that "new fangled" music is wrong or those people aren't living right, but the "how this new stuff is being delivered", sure is becoming questionable!?

In the New Testament, early believers were also warned to remain as far as possible from the unfruitful, ungodly works of the unrighteous. Sin spreads and it is contagious, and that is one reason God wanted His people out of the grasp of any wickedness or that appeared to be that way. If I go to something that appears to be entertainment that has a "Christian" label slapped on it. Tell me how is that pleasing unto God?!

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Ephesians 5:11

For centuries, separation from sin and even the “… appearance of evil …” (Ist Thess. 5:22) were preached from most pulpits and practiced by most people. I grew up in late 80s and 90s. Christians lived differently. They spoke differently. They dressed differently. They believed differently. They acted and thought differently. They were ashamed, as were their families, when they were involved in sin or even "imitated the lifestyles of the unsaved".

A different way of living does not save anyone. “Not cursing or hanging around with those that do” is a good practice, but it will not make one saved. However, when one acknowledges their sin, realizes the price they will ultimately pay for sin, accepts Christ’s payment for their sin, and accepts Him as Saviour, that person is saved from the penalty of sin. That person is changed on the inside, and changes on the outside should soon follow.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17

This “new creature” should want to live the way the Lord wants him to do. The “new” saved person will produce godly fruits (actions that are pleasing to the Lord), not because he has to do them, but because his new “heart” will want to do them for the Lord. A saved person should want to please his Savior.

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” Ephesians 5:8-12

The new-hearted Christian should realize that the way he used to live was not pleasing to the Lord. To please the Lord, he should want to separate himself from sin and its temptation. Amongst many of today’s Christians, this thinking and lifestyle are foreign to them, and even ridiculed. One would be hard-pressed in most churches and Christian households to be able to tell any difference between those “Christians” and the unsaved. Church leaders and believers spend more time excusing, justifying, and explaining their worldly thinking and lifestyles than they do remembering one of God’s most important commandments to His believers — to live holy. “Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.”  Leviticus 20:7 Also: I Peter 1:16.

God has not changed one bit since He had the words penned in Leviticus 20:7. No matter how those around us are living and believing, a Christian is always to live as godly a life as he or she can. We are on God’s winning side, and we are to live like it. We are not to live like the losing, ungodly side. The Bible tells us much about living a separated godly life: from the beginning, God did some separating. God put a separation between the unrighteous world and Noah and His family, when He sent the flood. The ungodly perished.

In Old Testament times, God repeatedly warned His people to separate from the ungodly so they would not end up doing the sin the enemies of God were committing.

“Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.” Isaiah 52:11

“Flee out of the midst of Babylon [a sinful nation], and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.” Jeremiah 51:6  *God was going to judge the sinful nation, and He did not want His people to be included in the punishment that He was going to inflict on the ungodly.

God says get away from the world, and do not do the sinful or “close to appearing sinful” activities they do. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” 2nd Corinthians 6:17

Our example, Christ, lived a separated life. We claim to be “Christ-like”, which is what “Christian” means, so we also should live a separated life. Godly living convicts the ungodly, and rather than change their way of living, they often will alienate themselves from the source of their “feeling guilty.” So many Christians that do not live a separated life never make any difference to those around them, as their lifestyle is not a godly example.

“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.” Luke 6:22

The majority of Christians fail in the area of separation, because gracious I did for years and years. It's an ongoing daily fight and decision to live holy and set apart; it takes a lot of effort and I have to make that daily effort sometimes minute by minute. Most often, Christians will not separate themselves from the things of this world, and separate themselves unto God. They want the comfort of knowing they will go to Heaven, but their sincerity is lacking. They will not separate from the places they should not be. They want to dress like and look like the world. Their desire is to fit in like everyone else. And, too often Christians are more interested in fitting in with the world than they are with fitting in with God and letting Him make them as holy as He can.

It would be more helpful for Christians if they had the attitude, “I’m a Christian. If the Bible shows me to do something, without question I will do it. If the world thinks I am peculiar, then that is their problem. As for me and my house I will separate from the world and its many questionable behaviors, and look, act, talk, and behave like the Bible says a Christian should.”

We should not strive to fit in and appear like everyone else. Remember when your parent would say to you, “If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it?” We did not like their admonishment, but too many are doing that spiritually; we are doing what everyone around us in doing. Too many are following the world, rather than leading the world by a Christ-like example. If it is questionable, give God the benefit of the doubt, and stay away from its involvement. That is what separation is all about, separating oneself from anything that will make one fall. Separate yourself from the world and unto God.

My dear great aunt "Emmer" and MoMo, who've both go on from this world, loved the Bill Gaither Southern Gospel music homecoming videos, and they knew and taught me what it meant to live holy and anointed. They kept me in check; the scolded me many times.
In fact, we have a couple of cabinets full of the VHS tapes and DVDs from Gaither's 1st video released in 1991-1992, until probably the mid 2000s when MoMo told us to stop buying the new ones released. We asked why? Her reply: "The anointing is no longer there. Maybe because all of the anointed, praying saints of God have gone over to the other side of glory... and it seems this new generation just wants to entertain us or be entertained and baby God sure ain't happy with that."

So all of last night on Good Friday 2020 into 4/11/2020, I was looking at those videos from the 1990s until later 2000s and was my MoMo ever right. I was shouting one minute and sick to my stomach the next, not at the music or sound progressing or changing, but the way in which it was being delivered.

I remember being at a Chistian event one time and leaving out early, because the lights and music were so bright and loud I couldn't focus or worship like I needed to. Oh, I tried and prayed through it. I wanted to hear the words being sung and not just read them on the screen. I literally couldn't hear the words just the booming music, and I left with a migraine. We don't have to stand in a corner and sing a hymn written in the 1800s, all stiff or soft, but goodness gracious can the entertainment aspect be removed. After that event, I said to myself you know what, I can stop and pray about events now and if God doesn't give me peace about it I don't have to go, nor do I have to be somewhere I don't feel comfortable being; I can get up  and leave. I even went to a Southern Gospel service "concert" earlier this year too, and I left feeling I was nothing more than entertained. I tried really hard to press through and get into worship, but I just couldn't. Then it hit me like a lightbulb, as I remember growing up, how most of those groups would announce they were going to be in service at 'name of the church', now they announce they'll be in concert at 'name of the church". Sometimes changing a word is all it takes for the enemy to sneak in the ways of the world.

The Holy Spirit has become so grieved in how commercialized Christianity has become. It's plastered all over everything now days, and it's become watered down in the process. It's become robotic and just going through the motions with the real meaning getting lost? If you don't think God is trying to get us back to the basics during this shut down time, well get on your knees and pray. God didn't bring me to this point in my life to deliver a popular message, but something that comes straight from the throne room of God. I'm taking my time of isolation seriously, as I pray and fast for the last great awakening to bring about true revival in the hearts and minds of people and the Christian community. That we are looking unto God, truly heed His warning, that we listen to what He says and be pleasing unto Him only and not man. I will never dedicate myself to man or a building, but only to God. We can no longer fully rely on a building or Christian artist to be the church that "entertains" nor feeds us. God wants us to pick up the Bible and read for ourselves during this time and study to show thyself approved.

Now this is what truly broke me, I even had a vivid dream during this Holy Week, about this Easter season, about Jesus as He was dying on the cross. I couldn't see His face, oh but I could see that body dragging the biggest cross up a steep hill. From afar as the nailing continued, I could see Easter bunnies, egg hunts, church dramas, people auditioning for the lead part to sing at the church service, big productions, the fancy outfits, I could hear the well rehearsed Easter sermon being delivered and ringing loudly in my ear, I could see people looking at their watches sitting in church, I could read their mind as they were saying, when will this be over because I've got to get home to eat and take our yearly family pictures. Then I heard this so loudly before I woke up, "it's just become nothing more than a 'robotic' ritual".

Time stood still in that dream for me, I was struggling to breath, I was crying, begging to wake up. Still I felt the pain of that nail, the grieving of the Son of God. Easter 2020, may not bring those "traditions of Easter", but nothing about that "traditions of Easter" dream was fun for me. I woke up ashamed, yet thanking God and crying out, "thank You God for not only continuing to spare my life, but for allowing Your only Son to take my place when it should've been me on that cross, and for stopping the Easter traditions "the 'robotic' rituals" this year". See, I want it to be just Jesus and me, and my immediately family tomorrow. I want to truly love on Jesus, soak in His holy presence, praise Him, and not be hurried as I truly celebrate the Resurrection of Christ minus any of the rituals and its aspects!

We've (well at least I am called to do this) got to dig our heels in and get in tune with what saith the Lord of Hosts. We've got to get back to the basics. We've got to pray for lost loved ones. We've got to not play games with church anymore. God is continuing to work on my church; my church means "myself", not a building. You are the church God's looking to come back for without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. The church is each individual's walk with Christ. It goes back to that Sunday School or VBS song, "He's still working on me, to make me what I ought to be"...

I'm praying for true revival to sweep across this nation. I pray, more than ever, that God speaks to others during this time, not just me, and changes us to reach the lost before He raptures His Holy Saints. I pray He truly gets us back into the holy and anointed, non entertainment aspect, of worship and the delivering of His Word. I am truly praying for that "spiritual reset" to happen.

No More Manufactured Christianity!

I literally seen this in my facebook newsfeed after my post titled, "The modern church is today's Tower of Babel". Holy Ghost confirmation for me! If she's "famous" and can be bold and tell what needs to be shared, well so can I! I just refuse to play church or be entertained when it comes to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Some of these very same things she mentioned are what I mentioned in my devotion below this post, about God being tired of the entertainment aspect of the modern church, and He's shut it all down.

Evangelist and author Priscilla Shirer said she hopes temporary church closures will empower ministers to rely more on the Holy Spirit instead of trying to manufacture the fire of God by using production "gimmicks" many modern churches have become dependent on. Click on link for full article.

Shirer was among 50 other Christian leaders, musicians, speakers, and pastors who participated in a 10-hour livestream event called “Leader Check In” hosted by PULSE and Year of the Bible founder Nick Hall on Wednesday. During her segment, she preached from 1 Kings 18:21, 23 and 24.

"I've been thinking about something this morning, just in preparation for the opportunity to share today with everybody who would be gathered in this particular week when we're heading into Easter when we are celebrating the sacrifice of our Lord. With the power of our Lord that He got up out of the grave, that He still lives, ever making intercession for us, ever the mediator that bridges the gap between us and the Father. So the thoughts that have been on my mind have been in and around Elijah, one of the premier Old Testament prophets,” Shirer said.

The daughter of Dallas megachurch pastor Tony Evans taught from Elijah’s example when he proved that His God, not Baal, was the one true God. She said Elijah understood that as believers we are to provide the sacrifice and God is who provides the fire.

"We're supposed to do our part but not step into the margin — that's supposed to be God's part,” Shirer explained. "It’s the Spirit’s part to light the fire, the anointing, the favor that will be required for every single one of our churches' streams to be effective in the lives of people. That they reach all over the globe on this coming Sunday, when for the first time, definitely in my lifetime, maybe in history, that as many people have been reached on Easter Sunday as will be reached this Easter.

She said Easter won’t just be a “good production” or “good technology,” but it will be a service that will have to “impact the souls of human beings.”

"What that means is, is that it's gonna have some fire on it. And it can't be a fire that we have manufactured in our own humanity. Emotionalism is not gonna cut it, promotion is not going to cut it,” Shirer continued. “All the gimmicks and the stories and the emotionalism, the veneer of actually having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

"The charisma, the talent, all that stuff that may have been able to carry us in front of a crowd, now that we've been stripped down, one of the things that I believe the Lord is inviting us back to is this reminder that we're supposed to present ourselves, a living sacrifice to Him. That we give Him our best. That we study to show ourselves approved, that we walk in integrity, and in characters as leaders in the body of Christ. That we continue to cultivate an actual real-life friendship with God that doesn't need an audience to sustain it.”

A Knife, Spoon, and Fork Prophecy!

This speaks volumes! It's all unfolding before us! I to feel that I am entering into a deeper isolation period with God, because of this extended period of quarantine. He's preparing me for a greater ministry opportunity and purpose when freedom of the country is restored again! Great awakening + great revival over this nation! • 4.10.2020 words, as I continue journaling about these days.

From Perry Stone Ministries Facebook page:

IS DAD'S WARNING COMING TO PASS...I THINK SO. Prior to my dad passing away. He shared with me a dream of seeing a set of plastic utensil's, a knife, a spoon, and a fork, buried one - third of the way in ground. He felt one-third of the food supply would be impacted in the future.

Reported today - something has now occurred that no one saw coming. In Florida, thousands tons of squash and zucchini are rotting on farms.  In the mid-west both milk and eggs are being destroyed by the farmer's themselves. The reason: the restaurants that have the contracts are closed and there is no one under contract purchasing their food and milk, as hundreds of thousands of sit - down restaurants across America and the world, are closed. Thus it appears, there may end up being one-third of the food remaining in the ground unharvested. A knife, spoon, and fork represents 3 meals a day.

Many farmers are saying they well could go bankrupt and close their large farms without an immediate breakthrough of some type. Many major meat packing plants across the nation are closing, due to their workers getting sick and the fear of spreading the virus through meat. One large company has closed, sending everyone home. 16.5 million people are now out of work, although some have sent people home to get the government help to pay them, although as reported yesterday no small business has yet seen a check.

I have told people it is not the virus that will impact the nation, as most people recover. It is the repercussions of closed stores and high lay offs and unemployment that will impact the most.

IF YOU HAVE A JOB and are being paid and can continue to work, you should every day, thank God for this opportunity. If you have a boss or business owner that has allowed you to work at home and continue to be paid, you should get on your knees every morning and thank God and pray for those who are out of a job. I am seeing videos in large cities of hundreds of cars lined up at food banks, with people taking a box who have never needed assistance. Food banks are running out of food, in every city, within one hour. We can no longer "blow this off," or put a spin on it and act like we will get back to normal. We are in the third-trimester birth pangs. Something will follow this from the Matthew 24 list. In Daniel, the Bible talks about the danger of "wearing out the saints of the Most High God." This can easily set in and occur, without prayer.

One more point. With the government saying they will hand out trillions of dollars, the question arises that if this money is coming out of "thin air" (interject here, I Kimberly McDaniel, have been saying this for a couple of weeks now) and the Central Bank and Federal Reserve is involved, what keeps America from eventually coming into hyperinflation as Germany did, and the money being devalued until, as in Germany, one postage stamp went from 4 German Marks to 4 billions Marks? I don't have an answer to that one.

Some Washington liberals do not want to have the Malaria pill available that is helping so many. Perhaps two underlying reasons are, big Pharmacy vaccine money worth billions (also the industry is the number one supporter of politicians), and the left want to demand everyone to get the vaccine and perhaps a medical chip or special bracelet to monitor a person, in the name of health. The left never misses a crisis where they can promote or enforce their agenda. I do believe this crisis could eventually help develop the Beast System (Revelation 13:17-18), of no buying or selling without a special mark, name or number.

Knowing Bible prophecy and what the prophets saw in the future and what I know by the Spirit will also come down the road, is a strong burden to carry. Satan has great wrath knowing his time is short and is unleashing everything he can to stop the churches, silence outspoken ministers, and prevent global outreaches, using whatever he can how he can. Pray for all spiritual leaders. Many people are coming back to Christ which is one awesome outcome of this crisis.

I will be out of pocket for a while and in an area where there is little or no cell service.  I find it necessary to have to hear from the Lord for me personally, and renew my body mind, and spirit and not just pray for the ministry. I have thought about how I started out at age 18 with nothing, with just me and the Lord; no buildings, no outreach, no staff, and a few little churches to preach in. It is still after forty-four years, me and the Lord, and if for some reason because of the "times and seasons" or the Lord changes our direction, I will still have me and the LORD... and with me, a wonderful family and many faithful, praying people. Like Job said during a time when he lost everything, including his income and his health, "Though He slay me yet will I trust Him!"  This is a time for everyone to place their trust, not in men, but totally in God. God bless all of you and stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!

145 More Days!

I hope and pray there is no real significance to this (on us being in quarantine that long), but if there is... only time will tell I guess?! And, if God sees fit for this to take longer, than thy will be done! I have to remember those very words of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, praying to His Heavenly Father, that if it be thy will let this cup pass from me, but if not Lord it satisfies me *paraphrasing. I had a dream last week that we had reached April 30th, our governor had released a note that had "145 more days" written on it; referring to the shelter-in-place "stay at home" order after re-evaluation of this COVID-19 pandemic and saying on the 145th day everything will be back in full operation. After continuing to see the no. 145 in my spirit, it intrigued me today. I decided to go to my calendar and see where that would put us; 145 days after April 30th lands on September 22nd, 2020. So, 'curiosity killed the cat' as they say, so I googled what was happening on that day that was "significant", and this is what came up: "National Voter's Day Registration". After I saw the extension in my dream, I remember saying, 'well y'all all hunker down', but I was seriously encouraging everyone too. Seriously, Lord, help us all.🤦‍♀️ I sometimes eat crazy things before bed, and dream crazy things that I think nothing else about. Sometimes though, they are warnings or prophetic dreams, where I've seen God's hand of protection step in or dreams come to past. I pray there is nothing too this dream, but it sure is staying on my mind this week. I know the virus is real and serious; people are dying! But you hear very little, if any, of all the positives of this too, that I'm having to dig to find! Also, I just still felt there was something more to this September 22nd date too that signified some sort of "freedom" taking place as well, so I googled the "the significance of September 22", and indeed a very important time of freedom was taking place in our country on that date. September 22, 1862 President Abraham Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, declaring all slaves in rebel states should be free. And, then I just heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me this, "Start praying and fasting for the complete freedom of the nation again!". I'm not one to share stuff like this, because I don't like to stir up any government or politics issues that would seemingly start any arguments, nor am I one to publicly share dreams like this. I just know this is something that I just can't let go of right now... this situation very well deserves the believers time in prayer & fasting! This is all in God's timing of course, but I want to know that I'm doing my part to stay close to God through much prayer, fasting, and digging into His Word! I honestly don't see this ending April 30th though, so pray and be prepared for extensions, I feel God is preparing me too! I invite others to be in prayer and fasting with me over this! • 4.9.2020 words, as I continue journaling about these days!

God is Still Here! He Exists!

God won't go away, just because people believe He isn't there or He doesn't exist. He's still there, even now. I'm thankful to know Him, serve Him, believe in Him, and live for Him. In times like this, I choose to pray and trust that faith in God is not only being rebuilt in the lives of believers, but coming to light for those who don't yet believe, and being restored to those who have left their faith. ♡ 4.9.2020 words, as I continue journaling about these days.

Edify, Confirm, Embolden, Strengthen!

The words I wrote down in my notebook during the AM church service on 3.15.2020; first picture below. Plus other thoughts shared, in pictures, during this. The last service before the shutdown would start and force churches to online only services. That morning I had no idea the COVID-19 pandemic would get worse. I added those words this week, thinking how I thought 2-2 1/2 weeks this would be over... but today I feel a shift in the spiritual realm, and I believe the leveling off of this virus is on the horizon and the end is on its way.. I still pray and believe these words over God's people. 4.4.2020 words, as I continue journaling about these days!

Revelation 3:10!

I keep hearing and seeing this verse so strongly in my spirit/mind today, & everything in the word of God is 100% truth. It's more vital than ever to keep our focus on what says the Lord of Hosts! I long for His return! ♡

Revelation 3:10 - "Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth."

Time to Pray... Seriously!

⏰❣️ March 2020 ⏰❣️ What time is it?

-Time for HIS people to PRAY.
-Time for you to develope a relationship with Jesus if you don’t have one. (There is a difference in knowing who He is vs. having a relationship with Him)
Just ask Jesus into your life and heart.
Pray: "Lord I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. I want turn from my sinning ways. I believe in your Son, Jesus Christ and accept Him as my LORD and Savior. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me. For shedding your blood for my sins. Forgive me of my sins and help me to live my life according to Your word. Help me to understand Your ways and help me to live in those ways. I invite you into my life from this day forward. In Jesus name Amen!" Now LIVE for Him. (TURN FROM THOSE OLD WAYS AND begin to walk in the new life) Learn what He expects by reading His word. Right now you should be relying on what THUS SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS! Surround yourself with those who have been living for Him and learn from them. That’s WHY God placed them near you, to help you. He has placed MANY near you that know Him to help YOU learn more about Him. How powerful would it be to know through this, God is allowing one last great revival to sweep through this nation, as He prepares to call and bring His children home after that!? Because that's what I am seeing and sensing in my spirit as this thing plays out! How amazing it would be to see the news media report the percentage of people getting saved versus the percentage that have been diagnosed with this Coronavirus. I'm reading and hearing of many giving their heart's to or back to the Lord during this. That gets me excited!

The Kingdom of Heaven is speaking, will we listen? “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” ~ ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Speaks Volumes To Me!

Speaks volumes! Straight from a doctor's perspective! This is a very good read on the corona virus, COVID-19 pandemic!

From an MD immunologist:
I don't post a lot on facebook but I would like to give my perspective and context on the coronavirus outbreak. I hope I can be a more reputable source of perspective as a physician who specializes and is board certified in immunology (as well as pediatrics, allergy and dermatology).

1. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses. "coronavirus" is not unique to this particular strain. Everyone reading this has likely had another different coronavirus infection. This particular strain has been named COVID-19.

2. Every upper respiratory virus has the potential to be lethal. Patients unfortunately die from many upper respiratory viral infections every year - most prominently the influenza virus. 30,000 people died from the influenza virus in 2019. The media didn't report each one. They have reported all 11 coronavirus deaths. Not telling us about the people lost but rather keeping a death "toll".

Let me repeat that:
-Coronavirus: 11 deaths (US in 2020), 3300 deaths (China in 2020).
-Influenza: 30,000 deaths (US in 2019).

*Influenza pandemic of 1918: 675,000! (US), 20-50 MILLION!! (worldwide) <---These people I think would have been in favor of receiving their annual flu vaccine.

This is not meant to minimize any of these deaths but rather to give context and put some facts to the hysteria.

3. If you're healthy, there is no need to walk around wearing a mask. In addition to looking silly and most of the time wearing/taking them off wrong - which would actually make you more prone to acquiring an infection, they don't prevent you from getting sick. If you're actually sick stay away from people and then, sure, wear a mask so you aren't spreading respiratory droplets every time you cough/sneeze. In medicine we don't wear the masks you're buying and we wear other protective equipment - not just a silly looking mask you found on Amazon. When you see doctors walking around the world wearing a mask then you should too. Until then, stop.

4. The symptoms are that of the flu. As doctors we don't test or know about most people with mild or moderate flu symptoms. That means most people will probably get it and just think they had the flu. That means you're only going to hear about the cases that get serious - not all the minor ones which will be the vast majority of cases.

5. When it is said that people who are older or have other medical conditions are most likely to die - that is equally true for EVERY upper respiratory virus. There is nothing unique about that to this particular virus. It does mean that the only cases we tend to know about are the severe ones. Once a case is severe it then makes sense to test the patient to find out what virus in particular they have. That means you can easily overestimate how severe or lethal the virus is because the only cases you end up knowing about are the serious ones.

In summary 30,000 people died from the flu last year. Another 30,000 died in car accidents.

I remember: H1N1 (2009), MERS (2012), Ebola (2014), Coronavirus (2020).

Take it from me: The poor resident who stood at the door of the ER to triage people in 2009's swine flu (H1N1) hysteria. The over reaction is exponentially worse than the actual problem and in 2020 the over reactions I'm seeing are remarkable. In cold and flu season you'll probably get sick once or twice for about a week each. You might even get this particular coronavirus and most of you won't even know it. I've seen people raiding supermarkets, major meetings and sporting events getting cancelled and fear/racism towards Asian people. These reactions are totally unnecessary and panic based. Just do what you've always done during cold/flu season. Stay away from other people when you're sick, wash your hands and keep them away from your face, and only go to the ER if you feel your symptoms are more severe than a bad cold/flu (shortness of breath, high fever, etc.). And also realize you can't live on earth and not get viral illnesses from time to time. It's a part of nature.

Please don't ask for antibiotics (those treat bacteria - not viruses). Thats like asking for a fire extinguisher when you're drowning. It can be a life saving device - but the wrong one for the problem at hand. Some doctor's don't want to fight about it when patients insist on antibiotics so they just prescribe them - but it doesn't mean its actually helping you and in some cases they can be harmful (resistance, infections, allergic reactions just to name a few). If you're one who asks for antibiotics every time you're sick, again, take it from me: ask for a flu shot each year and a doctor's note to stay home from work when you're sick instead. You will be much better off.

The government is very proud that testing will be available to every American. Remember, we don't test for any respiratory virus other than the influenza virus routinely. The reason is thats the only virus that has a treatment (pill) you can take to shorten the duration of severity of the illness. I suspect if we start testing everyone with cold symptoms for coronavirus we're going to find lots of it. It's not going to change the recommendations to stay home and rest. And its not going to predict the small percentage of people who may develop more severe symptoms. Essentially whether someone has coronavirus 19 or some other cold/flu virus isn't going to matter to your doctor. What it will do is slam urgent cares, ER's and hospitals with every patient who has a cold so they can be tested. It is much more sensible to reserve testing for patients requiring hospitalization or more advanced treatments. Even that wouldn't change their management but would be more to confirm the diagnosis and to not waste time looking for other causes of the patients symptoms.

In conclusion, yes there is a novel virus that our immune systems haven't seen yet so to get immune to it you will have to get infected - at least until a vaccine is developed to bypass the getting sick part and just jumping straight to immune. Most people's immune systems will do that effectively and be fine. A small percentage of unfortunate patients (primarily elderly, immune compromised etc.) will not be able to do that effectively and will need more advanced care. This is true of the cold/flu viruses we deal with every year. Follow normal cold/flu precautions and seek medical care if you feel your symptoms are severe. No need to get hysterical.

These outbreaks can be instructive for overall knowledge of public health. In particular showing your immune system the uniform of a potential invader (virus) so that if it ever sees a soldier wearing that uniform it will immediately attack and neutralize it without you ever getting sick. That is a wonderful thing and probably the single biggest achievement in medicine throughout human history. That is what vaccines are. The benefit to risk ratio of them are off the charts in favor of vaccines. If viruses like coronavirus scare you, then stay up to date on your vaccines and your immune system will be running the latest software.

If you still think you should be scared consider this: Doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff are going to hospitals every day. Crowded buildings with tons of sick people. They aren't walking around the halls of the hospitals wearing masks and they haven't stopped going to work. And they are all rolling their eyes at everyone else right now.

My Creative Bible!

Around Valentine's Day in 2017, my mama bought me this KJV journaling (art) creative Bible... during this COVD-19 pandemic we're experiencing in 2020, I'm thankful to be back in the habit of continuing with this form of studying the word as we are in this time of quarantine!

♡KEEPING MY MIND ON THE WORD♡

To the Class of 2020!

To the class of 2020: I was a senior in high school when 9/11 happened. It was our 1st semester of course. A group of the senior class, including myself, were at Jasmine Hill Gardens having Who's Who's and other pics taken for the yearbook. I remember us crowding around a small tv that sit on top of a filing cabinet in their business office watching the news footage, and then going back outside to finish our pictures after knowing what happened. To this day when I take my senior yearbook off the shelf, and look at those pictures I know which ones were taken after the news, you could see the forced smiles, with sadness in our faces behind that. Parents were trying to get a hold of us and this wasn't smartphone days, I didn't even have a cellphone yet just a car bag phone that of course only worked in my car, that I wasn't in that day. Yet school went on. The world stopped that day and major things were closed, but nothing was missed for us. All the activities were finished, I went to my senior prom and never went to sleep because a group of us had to be at the airport at like 5am the next morning to fly to Salt Lake City, UT for our DECA nationals trip. We flew like 8 months after 9/11, it was my first plane ride (we didn't cancel the trip since flights were on again, and trusted God that He would take care of us), I turned 18 in UT and had my 1st limo ride there too, I finished all the exams, went to all the gatherings and parties, walked the field and graduated on time, and went on to college that fall and graduated 5 years later. That somber day happened yet everything kept on going in our little world in small town Alabama, and honestly I think all of our senior activities and excitement kept our minds off of it. I made so many memories my last semester of high school even with 9/11 happening. We just walked right on through it. To the class of 2020, I can't imagine what is going through your minds during this, or the disappointment you may be feeling. I know the rest of your sports activites or other extras you just probably have totally lost, but I trust school officials will do the right thing and you'll get the prom and graduation ceremony you deserve even if it's not how you expected them to be, and something good can come out of this. Our country came through 9/11 stronger than ever, we bounced back and the same can be said of this once we're over the other side of this mountain. The ceremonies, when they do happen, I can only imagine the excited tears and joy that will take place for you and family and friends. God does have a way of turning it all around for His good, even when it doesn't make sense at the time, He is still in control. It wasn't the 2nd semester you expected, but you'll be home where the continued virus doesn't have a chance to spread among school halls, and oh the testimony and story you'll have to tell 18 years from now, like myself! A story of being a high school senior during the year of an event that forever changed our country, and living to tell about it! Y'all truly have my prayers!
