Heal Our Land!

Heal our Land: Most merciful Father, Almighty God, we approach Your throne, with confidence and boldness, to declare Your matchless worth! You, oh Lord, are Jehovah Shalom, Prince of Peace, Maker of Heaven and Earth; we lift Your name high and rejoice in the knowledge of You! You are the King of Glory, risen to the highest place of honor where we find grace. Let Your power overflow, Lord, as we worship You. Today, we pray that You heal our land. Abba Father, the people of this land call out to You in desperation. We are under attack and those who are seeking Your face need Your gentle touch. We pray Lord that You continue to hold our nation in the palm of Your hands, protecting our people in their goings and comings.

2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Heavenly Father, we bring our nation before you. We ask that you purge the land of this virus. Restore peace and calm to our nation. Remove the fear and replace it with faith in Your Word. Bless your people and bless this nation where we live. Let your people be a blessing to non-Christians that they will see the power of your Word. We declare that all strongholds over the lives of individuals who cannot find their way to You, are broken! We cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of You. Father God, when we look around, all we must see is Your grace! Grace that revives and restores the visions and dreams that we have for our nation. All our people are blessed! You are the reason we live and we declare that our nation is blessed with every spiritual blessing You pour out upon us as You heal our land.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We know Lord that we are not forgotten, You know each of us by name, even the hair on our heads are numbered. We thank you for walking with us daily and restoring our land to a place that we can all be proud of. These mercies we ask in no other name but the mighty name of Jesus Christ, SO BE IT…AMEN!

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 – For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

8.21.2022 - 8.24.2022 • A "reconnect and reset trip" to the Great Smoky Mountains with my dear friend of 10 years, Susan. We haven't got to visit and see each other in a long while. We talk over the phone some. In 2012, we met while attending the same church, and connected instantly. We've held each other up in prayer, encouraged each other in the Lord, cried and laughed together, and worshipped together, as sisters in Christ should. We belly laughed so much on our vacation until we were hurting and seeing stars. Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate.
