Battlefield Praise!

The Lord's words to me today, through tear-filled eyes, and may this encourage you as well. "Thus says the Lord, in your hour of discouragement, I am your hope. In your hour of lack, I am your provision. In your hour of uncertainty, I am your assurance. In your hour of pain, I am your healing. In your hour of chaos, I am your stability. In your hour of disappointments, I am your solution. In your hour of weeping, I am your joy. In your hour of question, I am your answer. In your hour of fear, I am your peace. In your hour of hurt, I am your relief. In your hour of loneliness, I am your comfort." *God wants His children to know that He is everything we need and more. I don't stop praying and believing for my miracle of physical healing, even when it seems it'll never come. I don't stop trusting God, even when I can't seem to speak or pray through the hurt and tears. If I choose to isolate myself, because I allowed the enemy to push me in the corner with His lies as he dumps oppression on me... I know, without doubt, God never left my side, and I know people in my life never stopped praying for me. The days may get long and tired sometimes, we may feel like we're out of control while this world spins out of control... but even then God is still there for us. Even when we may think what's the use or why am I still here? We must remind ourselves that God still has a plan and purpose for our lives. I don't understand His will or ways at times, but I sure choose to trust in Him and hang on until the end, even when I may feel numb or alone and undone. If the enemy was gonna kill us, he'd done it by now (but the truth is he only lies and intimidates; the enemy has no authority over God or His word)... so, hold your head up and cling to this verse (with me) that the Lord reminded me of while on the battlefield you may be on right now. (This is what the LORD says: “Keep your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for the reward for your work will come, declares the LORD. - Jeremiah 31:16)

God is Bigger Reminder!

In the middle of much discouragement today... God simply had to remind me that He is bigger! Depression is big, but God is bigger! Anxiety is big, but God is bigger! Fear is big, but God is bigger! Pain is big, but God is bigger! Heartache is big, but God is bigger! Sickness is big, but God is bigger! Financial hardship is big, but God is bigger! Stress is big, but God is bigger! Grief is big, but God is bigger! I could keep going with that! It would be so easy for God to snap His fingers and take everything hard away from us, and that is usually my prayer, especially dealing with ongoing physical pain... yet in the middle of it all such peace has washed over me with the simple reminder that GOD IS BIGGER! ♡

Is Jesus in it!

Just because something has "Jesus" attached to its name doesn't mean Jesus is in it! Be careful. Be cautious. Be prayerful. Be mindful. Wolves are out there dressed in sheeps clothing everyday claiming to "know the word of God". Be careful what you get involved with or caught up in. If something doesn't feel right in your spirit, if it doesn't sit right, you better not ignore those red flags!! The enemy sends others on his behalf, to try to imitate, with the intention of only destroying and devouring you.

Shifting Of Seasons!

"Shifting of Seasons" - Last Wednesday afternoon, December 1st, I stepped outside for some fresh air at home and felt led to take pictures of the leaves on the ground and the changing of leaf colors still in the tree. I've watched these leaves transform a series of colors this year as Spring shifted into Summer, Summer shifted into Fall, and now Fall shifting into Winter. I have experienced a season change in my life this year, we all experienced a season change in 2020 when the pandemic started, but as I took these pictures several days ago I had no idea of the word the Lord would drop into my spirit, until tonight on my way home from church. Seasons change and shift, but God does not. He changes not, and is a solid rock that is unmoved by the shifting of seasons. Seasons will come and go, but God will always remain constant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will remain constant in your trials and suffering as well as in your joy and happiness. God has your best interest at heart. He is our rock on which we can stand, who strengthens us and steadies us as we look to Him. We experience good and bad seasons... seasons of trials, of joy, of sadness, of mourning/grief, of brokenness and loneliness, of laughter, of uncertainty, of not knowing which direction to go next, of sickness, of good health, of questions, of endings, and new beginnings, but God remains faithful through it all. It makes me truly understand when His word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, for He is a friend Who sticks closer than a brother. Shifting of seasons help us learn to rely on God, grow in Him, and remind us Who is in control. While we may never understand why God would allow certain things to happen as they do, He knows what He is doing. God is in control and has set a time for everything in accordance with His purpose for our lives. It is all according to His divine plan. Everything He does is for our good and His glory. A shifting of a season isn't always easy, but it is our job to listen to God and trust in His timing. It is our call to remain faithful to Him, even when we don't feel like it. Your season may be shifting without warning, you may feel like you've been punched in the gut, you may feel like you've been blindsided and don't know which move to make... but God says tonight to trust Him and wait upon His timing and wait upon Him. If a season is shifting in your life, there is purpose behind it. Don't act hastily. Wait upon Him. Listen to Him. Harken your ear to Him. Hear from Him. Turn your eyes toward Him. He will guide you. He will order your steps.
