Shifting Of Seasons!
"Shifting of Seasons" - Last Wednesday afternoon, December 1st, I stepped outside for some fresh air at home and felt led to take pictures of the leaves on the ground and the changing of leaf colors still in the tree. I've watched these leaves transform a series of colors this year as Spring shifted into Summer, Summer shifted into Fall, and now Fall shifting into Winter. I have experienced a season change in my life this year, we all experienced a season change in 2020 when the pandemic started, but as I took these pictures several days ago I had no idea of the word the Lord would drop into my spirit, until tonight on my way home from church. Seasons change and shift, but God does not. He changes not, and is a solid rock that is unmoved by the shifting of seasons. Seasons will come and go, but God will always remain constant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will remain constant in your trials and suffering as well as in your joy and happiness. God has your best interest at heart. He is our rock on which we can stand, who strengthens us and steadies us as we look to Him. We experience good and bad seasons... seasons of trials, of joy, of sadness, of mourning/grief, of brokenness and loneliness, of laughter, of uncertainty, of not knowing which direction to go next, of sickness, of good health, of questions, of endings, and new beginnings, but God remains faithful through it all. It makes me truly understand when His word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, for He is a friend Who sticks closer than a brother. Shifting of seasons help us learn to rely on God, grow in Him, and remind us Who is in control. While we may never understand why God would allow certain things to happen as they do, He knows what He is doing. God is in control and has set a time for everything in accordance with His purpose for our lives. It is all according to His divine plan. Everything He does is for our good and His glory. A shifting of a season isn't always easy, but it is our job to listen to God and trust in His timing. It is our call to remain faithful to Him, even when we don't feel like it. Your season may be shifting without warning, you may feel like you've been punched in the gut, you may feel like you've been blindsided and don't know which move to make... but God says tonight to trust Him and wait upon His timing and wait upon Him. If a season is shifting in your life, there is purpose behind it. Don't act hastily. Wait upon Him. Listen to Him. Harken your ear to Him. Hear from Him. Turn your eyes toward Him. He will guide you. He will order your steps.
In Christ,
Kimmy♡
