Breaking the Cycles!

I know this is long, but my desire is to minister for the Lord. I want to bring encouragement, even if it sometimes interweaves with a warning. I want to share my heart. It is way past time to rebuke those spirits in our lives and churches that are NOT of God. I'm moving forward with a "REVIVAL only" mentality. Revival starts in our heart with returning to our FIRST LOVE, Jesus! ♡

I pray the Holy Ghost reigns in and over our lives with God’s victorious, restoring, delivering, and healing power. I have read the back of the Holy Book, and as a child of God I (we) win. I rebuke all these hindering and distracting spirits in life. I rebuke fear, anger, jealously, bitterness, gossip, strife, smothering, intimidation, division, and anxious spirits. God is on the move. I need and want revival. I need and desire that refreshing. We are not responsible for others staying comfortable or complacent in their walk with God. We are responsible for our walk and actions and to pray for them to understand there is so much more available for them, if they choose to seek it and receive it. I have set myself apart for Christ and His work in and through me. This prayer warrior is certainly on the move with God as my guide, and if you don't want prayer then don't come get next to me... because this woman of God has had enough of the enemy and his tricks. I don't play games when it comes to my walk with Christ, and He's tired of the games. We are running out of time, before Christ's return. When you draw closer to Him, and your inner circle gets smaller that's how it's suppose to be. Don't you know that God says His Holy Remnant will be small in number?! Even if you're the only one praising God, you better go ahead and praise Him! Never will a rock cry out in my place! Don't let someone else's response determine how and when you praise the Lord. He set you apart for a reason.

I don't know who I'm speaking to, but you're reading this and in a situation or relationship where God is telling you to walk away, but you're too worried about what others are gonna think of you. But let me tell and remind you, He seen everything that went on behind the scenes those others "you're worried about" haven't seen you go through. We think we can get others to change, but ONLY God has the power to change someone. Let me share some song lyrics with you. "I know my rear view can't compare to what God will do with my life. And, I am forgetting what's behind me. I have finally decided. I'll be movin' on"... Also, this really hit home when I heard a song for the first time this week, "Cycles"... "See the devil, he learns from your mistakes. Even if you don't. That's how he keeps you in cycle".... you'll say I'm never gonna allow that to happen again, then boom it does!! Wow! Wake up call! I'll tell you from experience, the Lord knows what we need and what we pray for... oh, but the devil does too. So, the enemy is over in the corner enticing you to something similar that will only lead you down a winding road of hurt and hard lessons. That's why the greatest and most needed spiritual gift we need as Christians is the spirit of DISCERNMENT. Sometimes those hard lessons are what brings it too. When you come through the fire, when the Holy Ghost is operating and manifesting Himself in your life, You learn to regret nothing, when it brings a deeper walk with Christ coupled with more wisdom and discernment. You learn and realize just how much God really did protect you, when that situation could've ended badly. You learn and understand immediately, when the enemy is at work, and you learn to shut it down quickly and not entertain it. You learn to fully rely on God, because not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of God. If it was up to the enemy, you'd be sitting on the sidelines crippled in fear and cowering down to every intimidating spirit that comes your way. I've been there. I feel that God is speaking to and teaching someone how to rebuke that mess in Jesus name and move on with a boldness and confidence, as He has me.

It's not going to be easy to grow in Christ and gain a deeper walk with God, but I can promise you it's worth it if you're serious about. You learn it's not about the number of friends you have, you quit caring and worrying about what other people think, you learn how to stand up for yourself and the Lord. You learn WHO to call on in the midnight hour. God hears those conversations about you that no one else hears, so let Him protect you, speak for you, and fight for you! Just be still and know that He is God! (See Psalm 46:10) I know it hurts, but God says that He has you in the palm of His hand where you're most secure. I know it's hard not to tell your side of the story, but God says in Proverbs that even a fool who keeps his mouth shut is deemed wise. I know it's hard not to fight back, but God says that vengeance is His. I know it's hard when you feel like everyone is against you, but God says that if He is for you than who can be against you. I know it's hard to walk away, but God says that if you'll only step out in faith, He's already gone before you and paved every crooked path straight. I know it's hard when you feel like you've got a sure word from God but no doubt man messes it up, but God says that what the devil means for evil He will work it out for your good. It's not always easy, but with God it is always worth it! ❤🙌

Praise the Lord Psalm!

Psalm 146

Let me remind you that by being God’s children, we should not be worried or fear what is going on in this world, for we have a God bigger than the world. We just need to focus our eyes on Him, believing and knowing that His eye is on us too. He is the only one you can stay 100% confident and hopeful in. God is our helper through the end. He is watching that sparrow, and He is watching you too.

Through this Psalm, I realize that He is the God of Jacob, He is the God of Creation, and He is the Living and Personal God. In other words, He is the Powerful God of History, the Present Personal God, and the Creative God of the Coming Things! 🙌❤

Proclaim God's Promises!

In the midst of satan's attack... you can still shout and proclaim that your blessing, healing, and deliverance are coming through.

Don't you dare give up on God's promises, for they are yes and amen. God does not want you to stay in bondage, that is why He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to suffer and die on the cross for you, so that you can be saved and set free.

Let me tell, there is not a devil in hell, nor demonic force, nor spiritual warfare strong enough to stop what God is going to do. Every high thing must come down, every stronghold shall be broken, and the devil's reign of terror doesn't have a hold of your life.

I am not intimidated nor do I fear staring the devil and anyone he uses in the face, and say with authority, "satan get thee behind"! He can try to attack my body and mind, but he cannot touch my soul... the blood line of Jesus has been applied and satan cannot cross it, for the word of God proclaims NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER!!

I will see Heaven as my eternal home one day, and that is what I have my focus on!!

Shake the Dust Off!

If we are not careful, we can allow that which wounded us to destroy us, which is what the enemy desires to happen. If you have been wounded, I urge you to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep on going. Shake the dust from your feet and keep walking, keep moving, and don't keep still in the hurt and toxicity. Do not allow a wound from the past dictate your present or your future. Yes, there may always be a scar... but let that serve as a reminder that you came out with dignity, with character, with integrity, and with victory. Do not allow your future to be affected by a wound of the past. When you shake the dust from your feet, it is symbolic in that you are choosing to separate yourself from something that should no longer be a part of your life, so it can no longer cling to you. Do not allow those wounds to keep clinging to you and weighing you down so you cannot move forward. In modern terms, "you are washing your hands of it".

You determine your future by what you decide to do after being wounded. I decided to move forward and push through my wounds, and now I am ministry minded and focused on God. Shift your focus to God. Keep your eyes on Christ.

We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18

The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate. We prepare for battle when we suit up daily with the armor of God.

----------

ARMOR of God and its PURPOSE:

Belt of Truth - backbone of the word

Breastplate of Righteousness - protects is from satan's fiery darts, lies, temptation

Feet Preparation of the Gospel of Peace - mobility and confidence with the boldness to share the Gospel of Christ and overcome spiritual conflict

Shield of Faith - trusting God to protect you and knowing what's best for you, as you live for Christ

Helmet of Salvation- protection as the word of God saturates your mind

Sword of the Spirit - the Bible is our tool to fight the enemy while growing in God's word and growing in our relationship with Christ

----------

God's word spells God Sword. The Bible = it not only educates us, but it helps us fight. Prayer and the armor of God go hand-in-hand.

Where the Roses Never Fade!

I captured our pink rose bushes in bloom in mid April. In the bottom picture, you will see that there are not many bloomed out roses remaining... the season has shifted from summer to spring... they are meant to only bloom for a season. When I took the picture today versus the ones in April, I was reminded of the beautiful hymn "Where the Roses Never Fade".

"I am going to that city. Where, where the streets with gold are laid. Where the tree of life is blooming. And, the roses never fade. ---Here they bloom, but for a season. Soon their beauty is decayed. I am going to a city. Where the roses never fade." 🩷

Change is inevitable, while living on this earth, and sometimes it sure is not pleasant, but one day when I am at the feet of Jesus, everything will be beauty... no difficult changes, no death, no pain, no sickness, no hurt, no darkness, no hate, no bitterness... just peace! That day is soon coming, so let us be found ready for His return!

Defeating Discouragement!

Discouragement is a temptation “common to man” (1 Corinthians 10:13). And in dealing with it sometimes we need tenderness and other times we need toughness. But either way discouragement is not to be tolerated or wallowed in. It’s to be fought. If we linger in discouragement it can be costly; I've been there more than once. It is a sense of defeat and hopelessness that steals our hope and faith in Jesus. It can consume a lot of time. It can keep us from doing what we need to do, because we don’t want to face it. And it can even be contagious, weakening others’ faith.

When we feel discouraged we want comfort, which is right to feel. But sometimes the comforts we turn to are ways to avoid our discouragements rather than ways to muster our courage to face and overcome them. When this happens discouragement can become sinful indulgence in unbelief, leading to other sins. Jesus does not want us to be discouraged. Listen to what Jesus says to his disciples just before what probably was the most discouraging experience of their lives — His brutal death: “Let not your hearts be troubled” (John 14:1). Note Jesus’ words, “let not.” These are not merely comforting; they are commands. He knew they would be tempted to fear and be discouraged. Things were going to look very bad, like the whole mission was collapsing. What were they to do instead of being afraid? Believe! “Believe in God; believe also in Me.” In other words, “Don’t let your hearts be ruled by what you see. Let them be ruled by what I promise you.” And that’s what He’s saying to you and me too. During discouragement, it is time to fight, not tolerate it.

Think of discouragement as your faith being choked. When you’re choking, it’s not the time to plop down in front of the TV with a plate of comfort food to medicate your discouragement. You need to dislodge the obstruction so you can breathe. You need to fight for life. You may need to get someone to give you the spiritual heimlich. Go get encouragement — faith-fueled courage from God's word. Don’t let discouragement choke you; it’s dislodged by believing God's promises. God gave us the Bible so that “through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope” (Romans 15:4).

God Fights On Your Behalf!

"God Will Fight Your Battles"

Sometimes God will put a protective shield around you where nothing will be able to get through to attack you. Other times something will start to slip through the armor cracks to come directly against you, and then God will move ahead of you to take it out. This is where God will literally take your enemy head on and do battle on your behalf. Sometimes God will fight the actual battle through you, other times He will simply tell you to hold your position and do absolutely nothing, and then He will move Himself to completely take out the attack coming against you. This is where God shows you how powerful and how awesome He really is when He moves into battle to personally protect you; He just needs you to be still and trust Him.

Watch for False Prophets!

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." - Matthew 7:15 --- the devil can give someone words to say that may sound like it's coming from God, so just be careful what you take in... and you better take EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE! And ask yourself, is this really from God? That’s why the devil is so dangerous. Paul tells us this about our adversary, “…for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14)

The devil will always try to deceive us, but there is a secret for uncovering any false voice. It is to know the voice of the Savior intimately. This is similar to those who examine money for counterfeits; they say that when you truly know the feel of genuine bills, the bogus ones are easier to detect. Of course the way to know the Savior’s voice intimately is to abide in the vine. “'I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser... abide in Me, and I in you.'” (John 15:1-7)

Be wary and take nothing for granted. Clinging with all your heart to Jesus each day will protect you from being taken in no matter how good a disguise the devil wears!

Walk By Faith!

If you are struggling with something just know that I want to be obedient in sharing this word of encouragement with you. So often when we feel defeated, we feel like we have no one to turn to. But really, that’s not the case. In all times, turning to God and leaning on your faith in Him can renew your hope that things will turn out alright. We should turn to God when we are grateful, when we are sad, and especially when we feel defeated or discouraged.

2nd Corinthians 5:7 says that “we live (walk) by faith, not by sight.” This is so true. Faith is not something we see, it is something we feel and something we believe in. It is blind faith... having faith that God has a plan for you when nothing is going right is never easy, but knowing that there is a plan is enough to help you get through anything, especially if you are feeling defeated. This may sound simple, but the Lord says to remind His discouraged ones that He has a plan and to lean on that promise!
