Striving To Be "Christ-Like"!

Being convicited by the Holy Ghost surely isn't an easy process, but I thank God when we do still feel conviction. If we are no longer feeling conviction, that's when we sure need to be concerned. That convicting power of the Holy Ghost is what helps us keep growing and moving forward in God. Even when it hurts. The pruning process is never meant to be pain free, but prettiness comes from it. Blooming and beauty are results after the needed pruning. Pruning produces growth. I'll never forgot a time in my life when I heard loud and clearly, after my months of nothing but whining, folded arms during church services of refusing to worship while being a mess of tears and living in the offense... when the Holy Spirit pricked my heart and the Lord spoke to me, "Are you going to worship or are you going to whine"?! I wonder what would happen if the Lord said, enough with the lies devil! For 20 minutes you have to tell the truth about yourself, other people, and Me, the Lord God. About himself: The devil would have to say, I was one of God’s great creations made to worship in Heaven but pride come in and I let it become about me, and I started glorifying myself and thought that I could take over the throne. I got kicked out of Heaven and because I forfeited my destiny and purpose, my job was then to begin trying to take over and ruin your purpose and destiny. About you: I know the purpose and plan for your life, but I started back with your ancestors creating chaos and confusion so you would not realize this. I created nothing but lies, I heard purpose and destiny and all I do is try to stop it, if you only knew who you were, if you only knew what laid down inside of you but you are doing a good job of listening to my lies, so keep it up. In order to move forward in the opportunities and plans God has for our life, we must not focus on the circumstances [enemy]. Instead we must focus on the solution [God] through His word [Bible]. Remember when satan has a plan, God has another plan. God said He would turn it around. What the devil meant for evil, He will make it good!
