Trust the Delays!

                A  SUNSET DELAY.

Trust the delays in life. Trust God that He knows what He's doing. Stay in tune with God and really listen to what He has to tell you. I wasn't suppose to fly to Charlotte until Tuesday morning. By Friday night, I could hear God directing me to come on early for campmeeting services in North Carolina; that He would make a way with the changes. I changed my flight. My flight from Birmingham was delayed almost 2 hours. I didn't get frustrated, because God said to trust the delay. Had I not changed my flight, had my seat not been upgraded, had the flight not been delayed with take off (even extra delay time on the runway)... I would have missed watching a beautiful sunset from take off until landing. I normally don't fly in the evenings. To some a sunset on a flight may not mean anything, but to mean it meant everything. Sunsets have been special between God and me for years now. It's just like I get a glimpse of Heaven everytime I look at one. How He shows me that no two are ever alike and unique just like we are. How He reminds me that He is always watching over me. How He reminds me that only He could orchestrate something so beautiful. And tonight He reminded me, on that peaceful flight, just how much He cares and loves me despite myself sometimes. That delay had a beautiful reminder coming. A reminder of how much God knows what we need, when we need it most. A reminder of just how beautiful things can be, despite the ugliness of this world. A reminder of His peace and protection, despite an evil world we are living in. A reminder that I know I'm being obedient and moving forward in His will for my life in this season of life. As the sun would continue to set, it was like I could see Him changing the very colors with the brushstrokes of His hands. That hour flight was special time with just the Lord and me; like we were the only ones on there. I saw God in that sky!🥰😊
