My prayer is that many people, across this world, will be encouraged and uplifted by reading even one of these posts. The birth of this blog brought much healing into various areas of my life. If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will see a link to the post on the birth of this blog and why I named the blog "becoming better women". Even though I want to reach everyone, this was about helping myself learn to keep growing in Christ "Christ like". I may struggle, but I will never quit.

We Can't Forget That!
We can't forget that God remains a delivering God. Nowhere in the Bible are Christians promised they will be free from problems or suffering. Rather, Jesus said in this world you shall have tribulations but take heart for I have overcome the world, see John 16:33. God still delivers His children in His will and way. It's by faith that we continue to trust Him through it all. I am reminded that God allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery so He could turn his dilemma into victory. God allowed Daniel to be put into the lion's den that He might deliver him from the mouths of the lions. God allowed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be thrown into the fiery furnace that He might deliver them from the heat of the flames. And, God allowed Paul to be shipwrecked that He might save him in the midst of a violent storm. Our God is able to take care of us in the most terrible circumstances... we can't forget that.

Tidbits of Faith!
I guess after all I have been through in 36 years of living, it just hurts my heart to see people want to give up so quickly and throw in the towel... I see Christians more and more these days just trusting God in tidbits "small amounts of trust when it's convenient for them"! God is BIGGER! He is our faith in the middle of frustrations and uncertainty. I muddled through ten years of nonstop sickness, heartache, and spinning my wheels, etc. before I started seeing my season of breakthroughs and God's promises come to pass, and finally learning what it means to fully trust in God... but the key was during all of that I kept on trusting God and never quit. In these last days, God is looking for a chosen people who can get so full of the Holy Ghost that they learn to persevere through it all. Like the Lord told me one time as plain as day, "child go buy you a ladder and learn to climb over that junk". Life is full of ugly disappointments, we don't have to be reminded of that, and the enemy is doing his best to shove fear and distractions into the hearts and minds of God's people, but it is how we rise up and handle them that makes the difference. In the last days, the Word says there will be a great falling away... no doubt we are already there... but I hear so strongly in my spirit, "it is not time to pout, it is time to shout". Why? Because God is reminding of Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” and Psalm 9:10 "And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You". God's precious Holy Spirit is so grieved at those who continue to doubt and lose faith in what He is going to do to bring us to Him for all eternity. How beautiful Heaven must be! That's how I continue to push through the lies and distractions of the enemy; focusing on things unseen, not seen.

Your Perfect Peace!
Once again Lord, I lay down in Your perfect peace, feasting on Your precious word spoken to my spirit: "Remind any child of mine this; that I have not departed from you. I will not withdraw myself from you, thus saith the Lord if you will follow me, call on me, worship me, and remain obedient to Me. Nothing that the enemy does catches Me by surprise or confuses Me for I am NOT the author of confusion. Remember that nothing derails Me, Jehovah God!" • There are situations right now that seems to be shaking our world, there are things that pull us to the very lowest point of our life, but nothing derails God nor His plans for your life! God is bigger and greater than any problem that you face. There may be events in this moment, that have knocked you to your knees, but God saw it all before it ever came to you and hit you like a ton of bricks. He is still God in the midst of it all! The Lord is my firm foundation. He’s my rock. I stand on His word, and His promises for they are YES & AMEN. He says to lay down in His perfect peace and never forget that He is a delivering God, comforting God, saving God, and healing God!

Peace in spite of panic!
As I just finished talking to God and praying about what our country (United States) could be facing... His still small voice whispered this to my spirit, "Just tell my children to keep praying for peace over their mind and homes and keep trusting Me. Tell them my peace is here in spite of panic, and that my ways and thoughts are higher. This year has caused a mass of panic, anxiety, and fear across this nation in the hearts and minds of many of my children, and it has only heightened during this election and its potential outcome... but haven't I said in My word that I am an all-knowing God, haven't I said in My word that never will I leave thee nor forsake thee, haven't I said in My word that I am faithful and will strengthen and protect you from the evil one, haven't I said in My word that I am your strength and refuge and an ever present help in time of need. There has to be a focus shift back to Me and knowing that My will be done in every situation great and small. Remind my children of Psalm 138:7, "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life. You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes; with Your right hand You save me", says God. • He put complete peace in my heart when the Covid hit. He put complete peace in my heart when the storms hit this year in our county. And, again He put complete peace in my heart regarding what's coming. You can't go wrong when you trust God every step of the way, pray for and accept His perfect peace, and keep your focus on where your forever home really is.

Just Peace!
My prayer! My heart! ♡ "Lord, I pray for nothing else... just “Peace” Lord! I have no other prayer in this season of life Lord... other than Your Own abundant, enduring peace... the perfect peace that passeth all understanding. Yes Lord! You knew full well that where there is understanding, there would be peace. So, I ask just for Your peace... for Your peace brings with its flow... Contentment, Forgiveness, Graciousness, Love, Strength, Understanding, and Happiness. Once You anoint me with Your peace... All else will follow – So, I will only pray that Your peace will stay with me this day and the days to follow! AMEN!"
