My prayer is that many people, across this world, will be encouraged and uplifted by reading even one of these posts. The birth of this blog brought much healing into various areas of my life. If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will see a link to the post on the birth of this blog and why I named the blog "becoming better women". Even though I want to reach everyone, this was about helping myself learn to keep growing in Christ "Christ like". I may struggle, but I will never quit.

We Can't Forget That!
We can't forget that God remains a delivering God. Nowhere in the Bible are Christians promised they will be free from problems or suffering. Rather, Jesus said in this world you shall have tribulations but take heart for I have overcome the world, see John 16:33. God still delivers His children in His will and way. It's by faith that we continue to trust Him through it all. I am reminded that God allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery so He could turn his dilemma into victory. God allowed Daniel to be put into the lion's den that He might deliver him from the mouths of the lions. God allowed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be thrown into the fiery furnace that He might deliver them from the heat of the flames. And, God allowed Paul to be shipwrecked that He might save him in the midst of a violent storm. Our God is able to take care of us in the most terrible circumstances... we can't forget that.
