40 Days of Personal Revival!

Do I know if this quarantine will last 40 days, or if there will be something connected to the No. 40 when this is over? No I don't!? I have no knowledge of how long it will last, but upon continuing to pray and study the word, I know there is a spiritual purpose and reasoning behind this time especially for the Christian church. I do keep seeing in my spirit, a banner that says, "you've entered into 40 days of PERSONAL revival!" There is a significance to the No. 40, and I was shifted into a direction of studying about this. Why forty days? The number forty (40) is seen a number of times in the Bible as a period of trial, of a testing in order to be cleansed or refined and perfected (I do think that is taking place to better equip His last day church to continue bringing others into His Kingdom); like products are tested and their flaws corrected in order to ensure their capability and durability. In Noah’s time it rained 40 days and 40 nights. In Moses’ time, after thinking he could save Israel his way, Moses fled to and lived in Midian for 40 years, returning to deliver Israel God’s way. Also, after rejecting the idea that the Promised Land was theirs for the taking, Israel wandered in the wilderness 40 years, until all those who did not believe died, after which Israel entered into the Promised Land. Studies have said that Moses' life is divided into three 40-year segments, separated by his growing to adulthood, fleeing from Egypt, and his return to lead his people out. (Which makes sense since Moses was 120 years old when he passed away, and 80 years old during his first encounter with Pharaoh.) Lent consists of 40 days before Easter. After being baptized in water by John the Baptist, Jesus entered the wilderness (Judean Desert) for 40 days and nights for a time of fasting and being tempted of the enemy. There was a spiritual preparation that had to take place for His ministry on earth to be fulfilled. Also, after Jesus was raised from the dead, He remained on the earth for 40 days before He ascended off it.

In the spiritual realm, I do see God rising up His Holy Remanent church through this, to prepare for the great revival to sweep our nation. I see the need for the Christian church to not confuse faith with wisdom. I have faith that God will protect me (hence, I will go outdoors and enjoy the sunshine and our land or ride around in my car when I need a break), but I also have to walk in wisdom to know I don't walk out in front of moving traffic (hence, the importance of temporarily closing churches/social gatherings and following quarantine guidelines). If no one else in the Christian society is getting anything out of this time, I sure am!

My 3.23.2020 word from the throne room of God.
I'm journaling about these days.
