Trust the Process!
God's speaking... I'm listening. Every day is not a good day, but you need to be encouraged, take a deep breath, smile, and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit to receive and keep going. Trust the process, in which God is taking you through to prepare you for your promise. I find peace in knowing that with every promise there comes a process. Let me break it down in this way. In Jeremiah 18:6, it talks about the potter and the clay. The process of becoming a pot from a lump of clay can’t be a pleasant one. The clay is shaped, left to set, and then put in a furnace. But at no point does the clay stop having a purpose. Although at times it may be difficult to see what God is doing with you, He promises that He is working on you and molding you to be more like Him. We’re a work in progress and nothing is stronger than this Potter’s commitment to finishing what He began. The process doesn’t always make sense, and it doesn’t always feel good, but there is a promise on the other side urging you to just hold on, trust God, and remain faithful even when you want to quit. Moses waited 80 years for a ministry that lasted 40 years—two-thirds of his life was spent getting ready; trusting the process to get to the ministry and still trusting the process while in ministry. Jesus even had to trust the process of His heavenly Father's plan for Him. Prayer is what keeps us together through the process, so when we pray let’s actually converse with God. Tell Him what’s bothering us, what’s hurting us, share with Him your concern and fears like you would with a best friend or your earthly parent. Trust the process, in which God is taking you through to prepare you for your promise.
