Good Morning Lord!

This morning as I woke up, I said, "Good morning Lord, I am awake and ready to listen to You". I am not very talkative (i.e. I am not a morning person) in the morning so before getting out of bed, I try to be still and listen to the Lord, ready to hear what He might have to say to me as I get ready to face another day. Though I have been in the midst of great spiritual warfare, God is bringing me through. Before I got out of bed, the biggest smile went across my face because it was just like I could see the ole enemy with his legs crossed, scratching his head, and saying that he was sure this battle would have caused me to lay down in defeat, but I don't understand, how she is still going?! That is right devil, I am still going, you have no power to take me out, I may struggle but you will NEVER see me quit. God goes before me and paves every crooked path straight, He rises up a standard against the enemy when he comes in like a flood. God knows what He is doing, I need only to be quiet, be still, know that He is God and let Him be my shield and defense.
