We need Revival for Survival!

WE NEED REVIVAL FOR SURVIVAL.

Ezekiel 37:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
37. Verse 1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live - and - verses 11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

We need our "dry" bones renewed in the Holy Spirit! The Lord spoke to my spirit and said that there are these types of bones within the church at large:

THE WISH BONE – the group that gets lazy and wants everyone else in the church to do the work.

THE JAW BONE – the group of talkers that gossip and kill the joy and happiness in others life.

THE SKULL BONE – the group that are the hard headed ones that leap before they think.

THE KNUCKLE BONE – the group that is knocking everything at church and constantly complaining to everyone.

THE BACK BONE – the group that carries the load and does the work and wants to see souls saved and revival happen.

THE KNEE BONE – the group that is always in prayer and stays humble.

Oh, what a mighty move of God we would see and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit we would feel and experience, if only we would see the church body at large being the BACK BONE and KNEE BONE! I pray that my Christian walk with God and life shows the characteristics of the back and knee bone. May the Lord continually rid me of any characteristics that would be that described as the wish, jaw, skull, and knuckle bones. I challenge you to evaluate your life and ask God to help and show you things that you may need ridden from, so that you can grow in Him; revival starts in each individual's heart.

8.21.2022 - 8.24.2022 • A "reconnect and reset trip" to the Great Smoky Mountains with my dear friend of 10 years, Susan. We haven't got to visit and see each other in a long while. We talk over the phone some. In 2012, we met while attending the same church, and connected instantly. We've held each other up in prayer, encouraged each other in the Lord, cried and laughed together, and worshipped together, as sisters in Christ should. We belly laughed so much on our vacation until we were hurting and seeing stars. Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate.
