As a Christian, I live in this world, but I don't have to yield to this world, instead I choose to yield to the Holy Spirit as He leads me to the Word of God everyday, the music that lifts up the name of Jesus, and to church where I continue growing in the Lord this side of glory. It's all about yielding to the Lord and participating in things that uplift Him and bring Him Glory, not things dominated by satan and sin. ..."for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". Matthew 12:34 .... "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things". Colossians 3:2. This world isn't getting any better, the news isn't getting any better, sickness has a hold of so many, but we have to look up where our help comes from and know it will be worth it all when we see Jesus.
