Great Are You Lord!

A year later I am being obedient in sharing this video link, not because it's me. There is nothing special about me, only the message I share. Although, I don't strive for anything but the anointing when it comes to singing & testifying. Someone needs to hear the testimony I share before the song starts. If you're in the middle of a battle and seemingly have lost your praise, I urge you to take a few minutes and listen to this. Allow God to pour into you and lift your hands in total praise and surrender to Him. A year later I may be dealing with the emotional and physical strain of sickness again, I may still be dealing with past hurt or defeat and grief of a loved one, I may be dealing with exhaustion from helping be a caregiver to someone else's loved one, by choice because I've been in their shoes and God has placed that calling on my life... but a year later I am still pouring out my praise to God with every fiber of my being. This song may seem simple and repetitive, but it's few words are powerful and pours into your soul like you can't imagine. It will forever hold a place in my heart because this song is when God fully got my attention to stop whining and WORSHIP Him! Anytime, I find myself whining this song whips me back into shape! As God led me back to this video I kept, it is one of those God moments when you don't remember what was said, because you were under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and the Lord is speaking thru you; you're blessed listening to yourself! It is just an unexplainable moment, but I know this video is for at least one person in who has been praying for this very word of encouragment; or maybe it's a mutual friend and you're to be obedient in clicking the share button! God gets the glory and praise thru obedience to Him!! ♡♡♡♡

8.21.2022 - 8.24.2022 • A "reconnect and reset trip" to the Great Smoky Mountains with my dear friend of 10 years, Susan. We haven't got to visit and see each other in a long while. We talk over the phone some. In 2012, we met while attending the same church, and connected instantly. We've held each other up in prayer, encouraged each other in the Lord, cried and laughed together, and worshipped together, as sisters in Christ should. Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate.
