God speaks thru His Holy Spirit!

Sharing as the Lord gives me this word:

"I have not departed from you. I will not withdraw myself from you, thus saith the Lord of Hosts, if you will follow Me, call on Me, worship Me, and remain obedient to Me. Nothing that the enemy does catches Me by surprise or confuses Me for I am NOT the Author of confusion, I am the Author and Finisher of your faith. However, the enemy is setting his traps BUT if you remain cautious and careful, continually praying for My Spirit to give you the wisdom and discernment you need, you will not get caught in these traps! Again I say BE CAUTIOUS; BE CAREFUL! Remember that nothing derails Me; there are things that shake your world, there are things that pull you to the very lowest point of your life, but nothing derails Me nor My plans for your life! For I am bigger and greater than any problem that you face. There may be events that have knocked you to your knees but I, Jehovah God, saw it all before it ever came to your eyes. I am still God in the midst of it all! I am your firm foundation and your rock, so stand on My word and promises for they are YES & AMEN. I remain a delivering God, a comforting God, a saving God, and a healing God thus saith the Lord!"

• God is speaking to His children, we need only be still and listen, we need only to come to Him and fully surrender, we need not run the other way only to step into satan's traps. I've got to stay on guard ready to step around what ever trap the enemy sets for me; if there is a red flag and you have to question if something is of God, that is the Holy Spirit keeping you in check so don't keep walking further towards the trap of the enemy! Someone is one step away from stepping in the enemy's trap and God is warning you to stop, turn and go the other way!! {1 Peter 5:8 "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."} This is for others!! I encourage you to share this!

8.21.2022 - 8.24.2022 • A "reconnect and reset trip" to the Great Smoky Mountains with my dear friend of 10 years, Susan. We haven't got to visit and see each other in a long while. We talk over the phone some. In 2012, we met while attending the same church, and connected instantly. We've held each other up in prayer, encouraged each other in the Lord, cried and laughed together, and worshipped together, as sisters in Christ should. We belly laughed so much on our vacation until we were hurting and seeing stars. Why A Blog Titled: "Becoming Better Women"?

Back around the last week of October 2017, I had a dream about the acronym "BBW" standing for something profound! I was standing in a room full of women, some I knew and some I had never seen before in my life and I looked down at a piece of paper and it said in bold cursive writing, BBW =  "Becoming Better Women" . There were women of all shapes and sizes in this room, different ages and races, showing different emotions. Nothing was said in the dream but when I woke up I didn't forget about it. In fact, a couple of days later I text myself those three words, becoming better women. Not yet knowing what to do with it, what it meant exactly, but feeling very strongly the Lord gave it to me for a reason! I had no idea that a week later, after having this dream, I would end up in the hospital for what seemed to be the longest and most challenging 7 days of my life! We Prepare for Battle in Prayer!

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 The armor of God is vital to Christian belivers when it comes to our prayer life, overcoming spiritual warfare, and overcoming a lukewarm lifestyle. We can learn to become crucified in Christ so that the flesh part of us can resist the enemy's lies and temptations to sin. We can become transformed into a new person in Christ and no longer be enslaved to our old habits and sinful nature and attitude. We have daily choices to live accordingly to God's righteous standards and deny sin. We we choose God's desires for our life instead of sins, we crucify our flesh. Sin is only pleasurable for a season, and then it will turn on you like an unknown allergic reaction to a favorite food you ate.
