Don't get distracted by the hurt!

Your problems and trials will push you and press you into prayer and praise. When I get in a bind, I know where to go. When I need gas I go to a service station, when I need money I go to a bank, when I need groceries on my table, I go to the grocery store, when I need a bargain I go to the dollar store, when I need to buy in bulk, I go to Sam’s, but when I need a miracle, I can’t go to dead religion, I can’t go to somebody’s past experience, I can’t go to what somebody did yesterday… when I need a miracle I go to my prayer answering God, One Who is able, to Jehovah Rapha (The God who heals). Also, my bank account has been "hurt" when I need to pay bills or buy something but I still use bank services, so why do you want to quit church when you've been "hurt" by someone in the church. I've never been hurt by God and He is who I go for. I will never forget a story my previous pastor shared with me several years ago. He said the lady had a falling out with her pastor following the morning service in front of others in the congregation. When it was time for the evening service, the lady came back and sit in her usual place on the front row. Others were shocked and ask her what was she doing back? She replied, "I had a falling out with the pastor NOT God". I have never forgot that, and I truly believe that story was God's way of helping me from that point on, push through every adversity that has come my way until He comes back to get me. Though it hasn't been easy, I've pushed through it all and always manage to get my focus back on where it needs to be and that is JESUS. I tell you, without hesitation, it is amazing how your life will change when you truly get focused on God, who He is to you, and what He done for you!! Don't get distracted by the "hurt" that comes from others, to keep you away from God, but focus on Him, and His healing only He can give!
