Trust and Obey!

I know life is full of disappointments and frustrating times, evenmore so because of the shape of this world and the enemy trying to hinder and block God's blessings... so when you're facing something unexpected and troubling, I pray you find encouragement in this word... see, I have lived for the Lord long enough, and I've seen Him bring me through enough and protect me enough to know that when plans get changed, when the upsetting tears fall from your eyes, when the money seems to not be there to cover the bills, when sickness comes, when a long conversation ends and it seems it was pointless and nothing was settled, and when you shake your fists and scream out, 'why is this happening?'...you've got to come to understand that God is still there and sometimes He detours, delays, demotes, or devises plans because He is either protecting you, preparing you, or planning something better for you... just trust Him to lead the way and continue to guide you. He knows what He is doing. He is working behind the scenes and seeing what we cannot see. Remember in His word that He promises to go before us and pave the crooked paths straight... that means every roadblock, stumbling block, barrier, and hindrance shall be removed in His time... if you'll just continue to submit to His will, obey, and trust in Him!

Confidence In The Lord!

If you think tonight that everything is not going to be alright, let me encourage you it will be alright... in God's time, in His way, and in His will. I've never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread. God promises to supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will rise up a standard against him. The Lord helps me to walk in confidence daily that it will be alright, even when things don't seem like they are going to be alright. When you have God on your side, and  when you are saved... truly everything is going to be alright because there is coming a day when we won't have to worry about anymore sickness, anymore pain, anymore death, anymore sorrow, anymore tears, anymore fears, anymore frustration, anymore depression or despair, or anymore addictions or temptation to sin. I focus on that day. I keep my mind on that day. Even when I am down and in the valley, I know that everything is going to be alright because of the confidence I have in the Lord. I am praying for others struggling, to grow to walk in that same confidence that only God can give you, because He is no respecter of persons. What He does for others, He will do for you!!

Made A Way!

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corin. 4:18) Today, it struck me that God has always come through for me and to remind others of this.  Without fail, God has always made a way. Even in the situations that ended differently than I desired (at the time), He still came through and it made perfect sense later on down the road. Sometimes the breakthrough took longer to manifest than others, but always deliverance came in some form --- relief, peace, finances, healing, inspiration, salvation… it always come and it will always will. It seemed once I finally got my eyes completely on the eternal aspect of things, I was able to push through and keep going. I know that is a promise to be true. Fix your eyes on Jesus! He's going to make a way on your behalf! ♡

March Forth In Victory!

I know that the devil is trying to zap everything out of Christians (from our hope, peace, strength joy, healing, salvation, etc.), but God is still in complete control and on the throne. Goodness, I know 2021 hasn't been kind to me in just 2 shorts months, and it seems to have not been kind already to a lot of other people on my friends list (as I read posts ok my social media page). So much hurt and sickness, grief and pain, etc. As I was praying tonight, thanking God for helping me to overcome this exhaustive asthma exacerbation I fought through all year, and knowing He's paved the way for me to receive the right treatment(s) I need moving forward after 2 years of fighting... and as I am feeling fresh breath in my lungs tonight after a much needed breathing treatment with different meds... I hear, in my spirit, "March is on the way Monday, so keep going and march forth in victory. Let others know this too. God is still a restoring and healing God and don't lose sight of that. His ways are higher than mine." Y'all, I have a fresh expectancy in my heart tonight, knowing nothing is ever in vain with God, even when it hurts or doesn't make sense, and He will use it all for His glory, knowing that for everything the enemy tries to zap out of us, God will give us just what we need to keep marching forward with Him. Someone(s) worrying and fretting over how to solve a situation that seems out of your hands, but God is saying be still and know that He is God, and He's already on the scene at work on your behalf, so in His presence just stay and lay all of your heavy burdens down! Now is not the time to lose sight of God; keep your focus on Him!
