Keep Walking!

Keep Walking!

“I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.” — Isaiah 45:2

The enemy is threatened by what God is doing in these days. There is no doubt that we are living in challenging times, and sometimes the enemy will try to catch us off guard. When everything seems smooth, he may throw a slippery stone onto the path—something unexpected that causes us to stumble, become discouraged, or question our purpose.

But God says, “Keep walking.” Don't stop because the road got difficult. Don't turn around because you stumbled. Don't give up because the path looks uncertain. God has already gone before you, and He knows every obstacle that lies ahead.

There is hope.
There is purpose.
There is victory ahead.

The enemy may try to slow you down, but he cannot stop what God has ordained for your life. Keep standing firm. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. You may encounter crooked paths, unexpected stones, and difficult seasons, but God promises to go before you and make the crooked places straight.

So keep walking.

Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. Your testimony may be forming in the middle of your trial. And one day, you will look back and realize that every step was leading you exactly where God wanted you to be. The enemy may throw stones, but God is still making a way. Keep walking—you are going to see the victory!

---------
Prayer suggestion:

"Lord, help me keep walking when the road becomes difficult. When the enemy tries to discourage me or cause me to stumble, remind me that You have already gone before me. Give me strength to stand firm, faith to keep believing, and courage to continue forward. Thank You for the hope, purpose, and victory You have promised. In Jesus’ name, amen."

But So Is God!

But so is God...

For someone who needs encouragement, allow me to share my heart with you. Spiritual exhaustion is real, pain is real, grief is real, disappointments are real. But so is God. He is our comforter and our very present help in time of need. He stays close to the brokenhearted. He makes a way where there seems to be no way.

Depression/anxiety is real. (There may be days when you feel tired, overwhelmed, or like you simply cannot keep going). But so is God. He sees what others cannot see, and He knows the battles you are fighting in your mind and heart.

Struggles are real. Bills, relationships, temptations, discouragement, loneliness, and uncertainty are real. But so is God. He is our strength when our strength runs out. Sickness is real. But so is God. He is our ultimate healer. He is our protector.

Trials are real. (We may not understand why God allows certain things, and sometimes the road is harder than we ever imagined). But so is God. He has not abandoned us in the middle of the storm.

Your circumstances may be real, but they are not greater than your God. The God I serve, He is very much alive and real and He cares about everything we battle and face in this life. Sometimes the best thing we can do is get alone with Him, and pour our heart and soul out to Him whether it be with our tears, prayers, or worship and praise and allow Him to help us in our hour of need.

*When you hurt, run to Him.
*When you are weary, lean on Him.
*When you are discouraged, remind yourself of His promises for they are yes and amen.
*When you cannot see the way forward, trust the One who can, because He promises to go before us and pave every crooked path straight.

You may not be able to change everything you are facing today, but you can remember this:

Pain is real—but so is God.
Struggles are real—but so is God.
Trials are real—but so is God.

And God is still faithful. He is faithful to meet you in the middle of your pain, strengthen you in your struggles, carry you through your trials, heal you in His way and will. Keep your eyes on Him, trust Him, and don't doubt Him in this hour. Keep the enemy under your feet where he belongs and trust God.

Guard Your Pea Patch and Fight!

Stay in Your Pea Patch and Fight!

The Lord give a word like this about ten years ago that ended up being a sermon and also what I have continued to have to be reminded up in the middle of hard times, spiritual battles, spiritual exhaustion and just a warring of the mind... and that's to simply stand strong and fight! Keep the enemy under your feet where he belongs! Once again, God is urging me to stand on this word again in the middle of battling a weight spirit!

Scripture: “And the LORD saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over unto Beth-aven.” —
1 Samuel 14:23

There is a powerful story in 2 Samuel 23:11-12 about Shammah, one of David’s mighty men. The Philistines came to take a field of lentils, but Shammah stood his ground and fought. While others ran, he stayed in his field and defended what had been entrusted to him. The Philistines were defeated, because one man decided to stay and fight when every one else fled in fear. That's exactly what the enemy wants us to do, cower down in fear, lay down in defeat, and give up.

Sometimes the enemy isn't trying to take everything at once. He simply wants to take your peace, your joy, your family, your faith, or your purpose - one piece at a time. That's the enemy's tickery, as he's sly as fox, he's the father of all lies and the truth is not in him.

But there comes a time when you have to say, “This is my pea patch, and I'm not giving it up!”

Stay where God has planted you.

Fight for your faith.
Fight for your family.
Fight for your joy.
Fight for your calling.
Fight for what God has entrusted to you.

You don't have to fight in your own strength. God fights with you and gives you the strength to stand. Don't run from your pea patch. Stand your ground, lift your head, and fight the good fight of faith!

-------
Prayer suggestion:

"Dear Lord, help me to stand firm when the enemy comes against what You have entrusted to me. Give me courage, strength, and perseverance. Help me protect my faith, my family, my purpose, and my joy. When I feel like giving up, remind me that You are fighting with me. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Spiritual Exhaustion!

Spiritual Exhaustion - what I have been battling in the middle of some stressful times the past month yet God remains faithful or pull me through. However, I also know what is like to battle ongoing depression and anxiety but I know there is a remedy for it all.

Scripture: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Sometimes we can become spiritually exhausted. We keep serving, praying, helping others, and giving, but inside we feel empty.

Even strong people get tired. Even faithful people need rest. God is not asking you to keep pouring out when your soul is empty. He is inviting you to come to Him and be refreshed.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is stop, get alone with God, and let Him fill you again.
------

Spiritual Exhaustion vs. Depression

Scripture: “He restoreth my soul.” — Psalm 23:3

Sometimes we feel spiritually exhausted, and sometimes what we are experiencing may be deeper than simple tiredness. Spiritual exhaustion and depression can look similar, but they are not always the same thing.

Spiritual exhaustion may come from giving, serving, praying, and carrying responsibilities for too long without allowing ourselves to be refreshed. Again, God reminds us, “Come unto me... and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Depression can involve a deeper and more persistent heaviness that affects our thoughts, emotions, energy, sleep, and everyday life. It is not a sign that someone has weak faith. Faith and getting help can go hand in hand.

Sometimes we don't need another sermon—we need rest. Sometimes we need prayer. Sometimes we need a trusted friend. And sometimes we need professional help.

God cares about the whole person — spirit, mind, and body. Don't be ashamed to say, “I'm tired.” Don't feel quilty to say, "No I can't help with that". Don't be afraid to say, “I need help.” And don't forget to say, “Jesus, I need You.”

-----
Suggested Prayer:

"Lord, You know when my soul is weary and when my heart is hurting. Help me recognize what I need and give me courage to seek the right help. Refresh my spirit, renew my mind, and surround me with people who will encourage and support me. Remind me that needing help does not mean I have failed You. In Jesus' name, Amen."

When Your Spirit Feels Heavy!

When Your Spirit Feels Heavy!

Key Scripture: “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” — Proverbs 12:25

There are times when we carry something we cannot explain. We may wake up tired even though we slept. We may feel discouraged, overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained. Nothing specific may have happened that day, yet there is a heaviness on our spirit.

The Bible calls it a weight or heaviness.

Sometimes the weight comes from grief. Sometimes from disappointment. Sometimes from responsibilities, spiritual battles, or simply carrying too much for too long.

But here is the good news: God never intended for us to carry every weight by ourselves.

1. A Heavy Spirit Can Make Us Feel Stuck.

Proverbs 12:25 says that heaviness in the heart makes it stoop.

When we are carrying a heavy spirit, everything can feel harder. Prayer can feel difficult. Worship can feel like work. We may withdraw from people and begin believing that things will never change.

The enemy would love for us to become so focused on the weight that we forget the One who can carry it.

Psalm 55:22 says: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee.”

Notice that God doesn't say, “Carry it better.”

He says, “Cast it.” There are some things we need to stop carrying and start casting.

2. Jesus Invites Us to Give Him Our Burdens.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Jesus didn't say, “Come to Me when you have everything together.” He said, “Come when you're tired. Come when you're burdened. Come when you're heavy.”

What a beautiful invitation! You don't have to hide your heaviness from God. You can bring Him your tears, your questions, your disappointments, your fears, and your exhaustion.

God already knows what's weighing on you. And He is not disappointed in you because you're tired. He is inviting you to come closer.

3. God Can Exchange Your Heaviness for Praise.

Isaiah 61:3 says that God gives: “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.”

That means heaviness doesn't have to have the final word.

God can replace mourning with joy.
He can replace despair with hope.
He can replace heaviness with praise.

Sometimes the breakthrough begins when we worship God before we see the answer.

You may not feel like praising Him. Praise Him anyway.

You may not understand what He's doing. Trust Him anyway.

You may still feel the weight. Give it to Him anyway.

Praise shifts our focus from the size of our problem to the greatness of our God.

4. You Don't Have to Carry Tomorrow Today.

One reason our spirits become heavy is because we're carrying things God never asked us to carry today. We're worrying about tomorrow. We're replaying yesterday. We're trying to figure out how everything is going to work out.

But Jesus said: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.” — Matthew 6:34

Grace is given for today. You don't need tomorrow's grace today. God will meet you there when you get there. So breathe. Pray. Trust. Take one step at a time.

5. God Still Has Joy for You.

Psalm 30:5 reminds us: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Your current season is not your final destination. The heaviness you feel today does not mean you will feel this way forever.

God is still working.
He is still faithful.
He is still near.
And He can breathe fresh life into a weary spirit.

------
A Prayer for a Heavy Spirit.

Heavenly Father,
"I come to You today carrying things that have become too heavy for me. You know the burdens I haven't been able to put into words. You know the things that have made my heart weary and my spirit heavy. Today, I choose to cast my burdens on You. Take the weight I've been carrying. Take my worries, my fears, my disappointments, and my exhaustion. Give me Your peace where there has been anxiety. Give me hope where I have felt discouraged. Give me strength where I have become weary. Give me joy where heaviness has settled in my spirit. Lord, help me to stop carrying what You have asked me to surrender. Clothe me with the garment of praise. Refresh my soul. Renew my mind. Restore my joy. Remind me that I am not alone and that You are still in control. Today, I choose to trust You with what I cannot control. In Jesus' name, Amen."
------

Remember this. You may be carrying a heavy load, but you don't have to carry it alone. Give God the weight. Let Him give you His peace. Let Him refresh your spirit. And when you don't know what else to do— praise Him anyway. Because the same God who carried you this far is faithful enough to carry you the rest of the way.

Beware of the Days Ahead!

God spoke to us at church recently this... "beware of the days ahead", and it reminds us of scripture calling for watchfulness, spiritual readiness, and reliance on God. It is a call to focus on faith and grounded trust, rather than fear, in an uncertain world. Rather than dreading the unknown, these warnings serve as an encouragement to anchor your heart in faith and remain deeply connected to your community and spiritual foundation today.

I have been thinking about the word spoken to us during this service through the gifts of tongues and interpretation about "beware of the days ahead" but how God has been showing me that it is in the context of maybe the unknown happening in our lives not just the perilous world we are living in. Not a warning to incite fear but to encourage us to remain faithful and trust Him. To watch, prepare, and stay spiritually grounded in those times of uncertainty. I know His promise is to never leave us nor forsake us.

Just Enjoying Life! Going with the Flow!

Life has certainly been busy the last several months that has left a four month gap in my blog posts, but I am thankful for God's peace, safety, strength, healing, and everything in between that has kept me going. I've enjoyed trips and much needed family time. I celebrated reaching year 42 in April, and I have been on a two year weight loss journey (without surgery) and I have lost 150 lbs! This has me enjoying life again such as zip lining and riding all the roller coasters 🎢 at Six Flags, including the upside down ones. I rode my first upside down coaster last Fall at age, 41 and was absolutely terrified and now I love them! I hated coasters as a kid and teenager! They scared me so! When I turned 40, it was like hitting the reset button on my life! I have had some minor health issues over the last several months but God has brought me through each one. I continue to serve God with everything within me at a church I'll soon call "my home for 3 years" in just a couple of weeks! I am so thankful that God brought me into a season of stability with not just my walk with Him but with a church family, and into a season where I am not spinning my wheels in toxicity. I've experienced two Atlanta Braves MLB games this year. The first ever year to attend the games, and they won both games I attended and it was such a fun experience. It's my second year to be a season pass holder at Six Flags, and I am finally enjoying life in a way a truly didn't know I could before turning 40! Over these last several months I have reflected on just how far I have come and grown in God since starting this blog in 2017. I have thanked and praised Him for all the opportunities He has allowed me to have to minister for Him and to enjoy life in the way a Christian should. How He has continued to love me and help me through all of my struggles and times of stubbornness. Knowing that it is also okay for Christians to enjoy life. Good, clean wholesome fun. And, I am learning how to go with the flow during this phase of life and not get upset when plans change or don't go how I think they should. I have had a lot of those tests this year especially with being the women's ministry director at church and learning how to plan or replan events or reschedule when the unexpected happens. Back in May, our Mother's Day paint party had to be pushed back a week due to unexpected storms. That meant having food and a special cake pushed back a week, yet God took care of it. So a recent event that had to be changed from my original plans, I started to crumble and God checked me real quickly and everything worked out for the better.

We have had a very rainy and stormy Summer in the south of the good ole USA. Our recent weekend at Six Flags, in July, brought a lot of unexpected thunderstorms but we made the best of it. I was thinking about how God didn't allow it to rain during the baseball game (in fact the rain that afternoon - while we were inside - cooled the weather off enough that we could enjoy the game) or while we were making our way back to the car from the park and having to load everything into vehicle. I was thinking about how God kept His hand of safely and protection on us, as we waited out heavy rain and thunderstorms with lightening for almost two hours under a cement covering area in a theme park but we were still outside. How the old me would've broke down in tears and crumbled, but the rain kept us from having a heatstroke in 100°+ heat index weather in the south. God knows what He's doing and He is in complete control. It's the small tests that are teaching me how to remain calm in the Lord. God cares about the small things too.

"Avail (allow; make yourself available to be used) yourselves to the work that I desire to do in you and through you. Trust in Me as I strengthen you. Trust in Me as I anoint you as never before. Trust in Me as I stir within you those gifts that I've placed there for My anointing and My ministry for those around you. Trust in Me. Do not doubt My favor. Do not doubt My anointing. Do not doubt the call that I've placed on you and in you to work through you. Trust in Me. I am your God."

That's what God recently spoke to me to share with His children. He spoke this our church family through the gifts and operation of the Holy Spirit. I continue to trust in God and make myself available to be used of Him as He helps me every step of the way. Get out there and be His hands and feet but enjoy life too. He will be with you and help you every step to the way.

Now is the Time to Trust God!

I just keep hearing in my spirit to remind others that in the midst of any challenge we face it's easy to question or doubt God, but in this hour He's urging His children to fully trust Him and speaking this to me, "don't question or doubt what I am doing, because I am working behind the scenes for your good; my child you can't see what's going behind the scenes but trust that I am in complete control and will take care of you in every situation." I don't know your situation but God does and He loves and cares for you... even in the middle of the hurt, pain, and confusion you may be facing. God's not the author of confusion and the enemy will twist any situation to cause your mindset and focus to go anywhere except for where it needs to be and that is to keep your mind stayed on Jesus. Turn your eyes toward Jesus, focus on things unseen not things seen.

The Lord directed me to share Psalm 91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" - As you continue to trust in God, you are protected and assured of victory because you are "under the shadow" of God's power and protection. His shadow is in your shadow and goes before you... your strength and victory lies in His shadow that covers you, and you are well-guarded that even the space around you is your victory and triumph. Your strength and protection. All sides are covered. Despite the trials and struggles of life, God has you in His complete rest and safety. Victory is AT HAND.

He Won't Leave You There

April 18, 2026

Stand Firm in Faith!

As a child of God, you can rest in the promise that He will take care of you no matter what you face. His word reminds us in Philippians 4:19 that “my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” That means every need, every burden, and every concern is already known and provided for in Him.

Life will bring trials and battles, and some seasons will feel heavier than others. In those moments, hold tightly to the truth found in Deuteronomy 31:6, “He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” You are never alone in the struggle. His presence goes before you, stands beside you, and remains within you.

When the weight feels overwhelming, remember Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” This is not a temporary promise. It is an everlasting assurance that no matter how fierce the battle becomes, God is always there.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that the same God who called you His own will sustain you, keep you, and carry you through every trial.

And God says, "I have heard your cries. I can feel your pain. I have not forgotten you. I know that you may not understand all that I do and allow. But I AM always in control. I alone have ALL power. Out of your hurt and disappointment, I will bring great joy. I need you to hold on through these difficult days. But everything is going to be alright. Place your faith and your trust in Me like never before. I make beauty from ashes. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy will come in the morning. Be still and know that I AM God." I encourage you to lean on Psalm 46:10 in the middle of your 'I'm not understanding this' situation(s)!

Sometimes Faith Means!

Sometimes faith means standing in a place where nothing around you seems certain, yet choosing to trust God anyway.

There are seasons when our prayers seem to go unanswered, when what we have doesn’t seem like enough, and when the future feels uncertain. In moments like that, it’s easy to judge God’s goodness by what we can see happening around us. But real faith shifts our focus. It reminds us that even when circumstances change, God does not.

Even when the harvest seems small, He is still our provider.

Even when the path ahead is unclear, He is still our guide.

Even when our strength feels gone, He is still our sustainer and refuge.

Faith like this doesn’t grow out of perfect conditions. It grows in the quiet places where we keep choosing to trust Him one day at a time. In the middle of the uncertainty, hearts begin to rest and a confidence begins to grow—not because life is easy, but because our hope is anchored in the One who never fails.

“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” — Habakkuk 2:4

God Hears You!

"I hear your prayers... I hear your pleas... I hear you giving me all of the glory, I will respond with blessings that will pour out like manna pouring from Heaven as you continue to lift up my name..."

I had shared with someone recently, something specifically about not quitting no matter how much the enemy fights us, if we sit down we can get down. God desires us to busy about His will. I want to be busy about my Father's business, and if you're still above ground He's not finished with you yet. In the group I was sharing this with, one of the young girls stood up to testify and shared how the enemy had been fighting her and she had said that morning she was going to quit but was crying out to God for answers and then when I shared what I shared everything just broke off of her. She got up and sang the song "praise you in this storm!" as I was at a church service when sharing this! When I say I understood immediately why it's been such a weariness that I've been pushing through since New Year's it's like I 100% understood it in that moment with that precious girl in that church service! The enemy doesn't want us testifying of God's goodness yet God is already preparing the way for us to be at the right time at the right place to help someone at His divine intervention to keep going!

I guess the Lord is helping me know just how important it is to NOT to grow weary in well doing! If even one person can be encouraged in the Lord it is worth it! Growing pains are hard but moments like this make it worth it when you understand the WHY! Physically I may feel tired, but spiritually I am refreshed!

God's Renewal!

Theme Verse: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” - Isaiah 43:19

1. God Renews Our Hearts

Key Scripture: Ezekiel 36:26 — “ I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

God doesn’t just improve us—He transforms us from the inside out. ••• Question: What are signs that God is renewing your heart?

2. God Renews Our Minds

Key Scripture: Romans 12:2 — “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Renewal happens when we replace worldly thinking with God’s truth. Our thoughts shape our actions, and God wants to reshape both. •••• Question: What thoughts do you struggle to surrender to God?

3. God Renews Our Strength

Key Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 - “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

When we feel weak, God provides supernatural strength—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. ••• Question: What does it look like for you to “wait on the Lord”?

4. God Renews Our Spirit Daily

Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16 - “Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” - NLT version says, “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every
day.”

Even when life wears us down, God is constantly working within us, renewing us every single day. ••• Question: How have you seen God sustain you through difficult seasons and renewed your strength?

5. God Makes All Things New (God Renews)

Key Scripture: Revelation 21:5 - “And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

God’s renewal is not temporary—it’s eternal. One day, He will restore everything fully. Hold onto hope. God is still working.. ••• Question: What areas of your life do you need to trust God to restore and renew?

Taking Your Issues To God!

What the Lord has taught me and delivered me from and I am so thankful that He doesn't give up on us, that He keeps working on us and helping us grow in Him.... go with the option on the right in the photo attached below!

My prayer: "Dear Lord, please continue to help me to not be a part of negativity, a back biter, a gossiper, or a fault finder! Lord, help me to always sincerely pray for the offender, pray for the deliverance of others, and show them grace and mercy and compassion just as you show me! Lord, help me to always be an encouragement to others. Amen."

In prayer time over this years ago, the Lord spoke to me and said "if only people found it as easy to talk to Me about their issues as they do to others, how different churches and our lives would be"!?

The Weapon Won't Prosper!

There are times in my life when I forget that I am victorious through Christ. There have been times when I have allowed the enemy to try to convince me to quit. Thank God when He helps me stop to I remember that I am victorious and I will not quit! There is power in surrendering our life to Jesus because no matter what the weapon is – we still win - for no weapon formed against us shall prosper, it won't work. No matter how beaten down we become His Resurrection power will help us recover. But He does not stop there. He restores us and revives us, rebuilds us and refreshes us... pushing us across the finish line to the victory lane if we do not give up on God. For most people – victory was one step ahead of when they chose to return to their old life. I do not want to be that person that forgets that God is victorious and we are victorious through Him. Jesus overcame the world which sums up everything that we are up against in this life. (John 16:33)

God's Refreshing!

Bible Study: "Refresh"

I want to discuss the refreshing of God. When we rebuild and align our lives with God's will, we will truly begin to experience and understand what it means to be refreshed. When a refresh happens, you are revived and restored. You are strengthen and renewed. During the weary seasons when we are doing our best to pour from an empty cup, and realize that's not possible, we get to that point of desperation when we start to finally see things we need to surrender and let go of in order to be refreshed. God's already been merciful giving us times of being refreshed in our Sunday services over the past four weeks. These notes were already written out about releasing our strongholds and burdens to God so we can be refreshed and that's exactly what was spoken on at church, that He needs us to come to Him and lay down our burdens and strongholds. I think of how God lined this up back in January, during the pre-revival prayer week and gave me the topics for each of this particular set of three months of study. He already seen the weariness and struggles and circumstances that laid ahead for us, yet in His infinite mercy He desires for us to experience His refreshing during this season.

How can we receive a REFRESH (to restore, strengthen and revive)?

1. Jesus Gives True Rest.
Matthew 11:28–29
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you… and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
• Jesus invites the weary to come to Him for true rest and refreshing.

Insert: The enemy is very sly and tricky. He's sly as a fox and he can work to get us in the mindset quickly of wanting to use stay bound up, weary, beat down, and holding on tightly to our strongholds and being crushed under the weight of our burdens. But that's not God's desire for our life. Something that was revealed to me probably a decade ago. If you leave church with a Jesus fix, without allowing Jesus to truly fix you then you're just spinning your wheels. It's amazing to go to church and shout and praise and receive from the Lord and lay things down, but “it has happened to me more than once”, as soon as we walk out of those church doors here comes the enemy with his distorted lies and views and we are right back to where we started. It's so easy to pick it up but so hard to truly lay it all down.
He is still the God who heals thee. He reminded me how His word says that He has heard your prayers, seen your tears, and He will heal you. I become so burdened, and my heart was heavy for a bit studying this, because I remember those years when I would leave church with just “my Jesus fix”... "I'd cry and shout, but I was leaving unchanged and not fully delivered". I'm so thankful I decided to let Jesus fix me one day, but my heart remains burdened for those who still don't want to truly change. When I think about being refreshed I think about a "well", as in a water well. Years ago, I received this vision and wrote it down and blogged it and once again it came back to rememberance as I was studying and preparing this. God gave me a vision of people who are seeking deliverance but have yet to receive it. People seeking what they need from God, yet in the same rut they have been in for years. People seeking to be filled with the Holy Ghost and to truly be set free. I saw the clearest vision of a "stopped up" well, with a stopper, a stopper like you would see in a sink or bathtub. When people are on the verge of a breakthrough and refreshment is at hand, that stopper begins being pushed up in order to be removed so God's blessings and victory, deliverance and healing can freely flow. But right at the point of the stopper being removed, here comes satan with his distortion, lies, guilt, condemnation, temptations, and anything else he can use to push the stopper back down and you're back to the same old stopped up well. I went through that cycle for years, but praise God my well ain't stopped up anymore. It overflows (even when times get hard and trials come and that weariness comes and something completely catches you off guard, I have to shift my focus back to God so my well doesn't get stopped back up)... I desire to stay overflowing and refreshed with God's love, joy, peace, victory, healing, deliverance, and anointing. See, satan and his evil forces will attempt to stop up the well that sustains our spiritual life and health. Refuse to let the enemy keep your well stopped up; let that stopper be fully removed in Jesus' name! That's my prayer!

2. God Restores the Soul.
Psalms 23:3
“He restores my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”
• God restores the inner person when life drains us and that's when we can experience His refreshing.

3. God Refreshes the Weary
Jeremiah 31:25
“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”
• God promises to refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.

Insert: I begin to sense that there is a shifting in the spiritual atmosphere taking place. I'm in much prayer and anticipation of what's to come for God's people who are hungry and ready to receive from Him. Again, in my spirit, I'm praying and spiritually digging those ditches so healing waters can freely flow again. I have been doing this for the last couple of weeks, and I'm seeing those waters began to flow now. Glory to God! And being reminded again, to remind others, that when those waters begin to flow out from the ditches on into the rivers and seas we, spiritually speaking, don't need to worry about NOT being able to get out in those deep waters and swim. Yes, within our human mindframe, we may think we can't swim in deep waters and will drown... oh, but from a spiritual standpoint those deep flowing waters are where the restoration and new life takes place. Don't you know God will keep you from going under and protect you from drowning if you'll only get your focus back on Him, and keep it there?! The waters and rivers of revival are flowing. Revival is not just a couple of evangelistic meetings and growth in the church. It is when God’s people fall back in love with Jesus and we start to pray, see the power of God move and work to change lives, and praise God for it all! It's when children of God are about to burst with excitement each week, because they can't wait for church services days. They are anticipating instead of dreading. Revival is no longer going through the motions, but giving God your all in prayer and worship. It's a daily lifestyle of desiring to live more Christlike. Get in the waters because they're flowing freely in this hour! 2 Kings, chapter 3 highlights God’s grace in providing water and victory to a coalition of three kings (Israel, Judah, Edom) fighting against Moab, despite their lack of initial faith. Prompted by Elisha, the alliance digs trenches in a dry valley, which God miraculously fills without wind or rain. The chapter emphasizes seeking God's guidance before crises, the power of prophetic authority, and that God's grace sometimes supports unworthy leaders for the sake of His covenant.

"Don't grow weary in well doing": This verse helps us realize that no matter how bad things get, there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. God is waiting for us. He intends to stay close and lift us up when we need it. Knowing we are not alone in our times of sorrow can be a comfort that’s hard to describe. What helps me to accept God’s joy is to remember the love it took for Jesus to do what He did for me on the cross. We can get lost in our grief and sorrow. God doesn’t want us to stay there. In our sorrow, finding joy in the Lord proves that joy is not the same as happiness. Joy is deeper and helps restore our happiness.

4. Refreshing Others
Proverbs 11:25
“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
• When we encourage and help others, God refreshes us as well.

5. God Gives Living Water
John 4:14
“But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.”
• Jesus is the source of our spiritual refreshment.

6. God Revives the Spirit of the Humble.
Isaiah 57:15“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
• God brings revival and refreshing to humble hearts.

Revival simply means to be refreshed, restored, returned to original condition. It’s what a Christian needs when they’re feeling spiritually dead. It can happen within an individual life or a local church, but it is simply getting back to the Christian life as it was meant to be lived.

7. A Refreshing Word
Proverbs 15:23 “A word spoken in due season, how good is it!”
• Encouraging words can bring refreshment and hope.

Summary
The Bible teaches that refreshing comes from:
Waiting on God
Coming to Jesus
Being in God's presence
Encouraging others
Staying Focused on God
Dwelling with God
Keeping a Humble Spirit
Daily Spiritual Renewal

Life can leave us feeling drained—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Responsibilities, worries, and the fast pace of life often take more out of us than we realize. But God never intended for us to live in a constant state of exhaustion. He offers something beautiful and powerful: refreshing. When we come to God and wait on Him, He renews and refreshes our strength. Waiting on the Lord doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means trusting Him, spending time in His presence, praying, and allowing Him to restore what life has worn down. Just as rain refreshes dry ground, God’s presence refreshes a weary soul. Sometimes we try to refresh ourselves through rest, entertainment, or distractions. While those things can help for a moment, the deepest from if refreshment comes from God alone. When we open His Word, lift our hearts in prayer, and surrender our burdens, He pours peace and strength back into us. God’s refreshing may come as peace in the middle of stress, hope in the middle of disappointment, or renewed courage to keep going. What once felt heavy begins to feel lighter because His strength carries us.
No matter how tired you feel today, remember this: God specializes in refreshing us. He restores hearts, renews minds, and refreshes souls that come to Him.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the source of my strength and renewal. When I feel tired and overwhelmed, remind me to come to You. Refresh my heart, restore my spirit, and renew my strength today. Help me walk in Your peace and trust in Your sustaining power. Amen.

God's Rebuilding!

Bible Study: "Rebuild"

I want you to take the time on your own, to study and pray and ask God is this an area that I need to work on in my life? These are what I have dealt with personally and how God has helped me but maybe through your time in prayer, He will help you in an area not mentioned to stop walking in that and bringing about deliverance in that area of your life?! How can I rebuild in this area?! It is a challenge for each of us!

We never stop growing this side of glory!! When you start praying and fasting, God will begin to show you things you need to rid yourself of. It isn't pretty by any means, but it is necessary. God chastises those He loves. I was going through a big disconnect feeling during revival, well all of January 2026. One revival night during altar call, I ended up on the floor weeping into that seat on the front row til it almost took my breath. I was weeping until I felt God again, God has been growing me, but the enemy also things he still has the power to stop God's word from going forth with power and victory, but he doesn't, and he will fight anyway possible such as I am gonna hinder, distract and cause her to NOT want to teach these Bible studies. But probably 30 minutes on that floor, God spoke to me and said, “Kimberly I am right here where I've always been, get up off the floor and go get prayer”! I did! I begin to get my bearings back and fight the rest of the month and allow God to do what He needs to do to help me keep growing.

We are gonna get down at times but we can't stay down! That's the key! You may see me struggle, but you'll never see me quit!

So let's dive in THE IMPORTANCE OF REBUILDING! THIS IS IN THE SPIRITUAL SENSE OF COURSE!

Rebuild meaning: to build (something) again after it has been damaged or destroyed. We want to stop what is hindering our growth in God & rebuild. That should be our desire.

Isaiah 61:4 “They will REBUILD the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive (another word is used in other translations here “renew”) them, though they have been deserted for many generations.”

Our lives can be struck by the earthquakes and fires of life. Broken lives need rebuilding. The prophet Isaiah speaks of the rebuilding of old ruins (Isaiah 61:4). This should encourage those whose lives are broken... for the Lord is in the work of rebuilding old ruins. He restores broken lives.

• Stop Weeping and Rebuild! (see Jeremiah 31:16 “But now this is what the Lord says “Do not weep any longer for I will reward you,” says the Lord. “Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy.” NLT).

And restoration can intertwine with this and restart! It's like I feel in my bones the "Rs" for this year: Rebuild, restore, refresh, restart, renew, refocus, revitalize, rejuvenize, recharge... everything the Lord is desiring for us to have to continue to take on 2026 in great anticipation of what He's going to do before His return, despite the evil that is running rapid in this world, God is still on the throne and in control and we cannot forget that. But the three ones I want to focus on during this Bible study: REBUILD, REFRESH, RENEW !!!

*Verse above: I received this in the hospital one week in 2017. I only had a new testament Bible, but this nurse, who I know was my guardian angel the week said, "oh baby I've got to find you a full Bible". She came back with one and it fell open in my lap to this book and chapter and my eyes went right to the verse. I remember her telling me I had to did down deep and find my strength and peace from God that could only come from Him. I didn't cry another drop after that til I was released and God begin to rebuild and restore that week. I had to learn to stop weeping for what was and rebuild and rejoice for what was to come. Even during sickness, I spent so many years over a decade especially in my 20s, weeping all the time and staying sorrowful even after God had brought me through something miraculously or delivered me from a stronghold. The enemy desires us to stay in the “what was”!.

• Stop Worrying and Rebuild! (see Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’ NKJV)
~~~~~~
Do Not Worry: Matthew 6:25-34
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? *(A single moment to your life)!
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
*Basically Jesus is saying 4x in 10 verses, do not worry, I have you my child! I am your protector and provider!
We spend so many hours and days worrying about things that never even come to past. It drains us of our strength, we become weary in well doing even though the Bible says don't grow weary in well doing. It causes mental stress and anxieties and then we can almost began to carry a load of “false burdens” and worry because the enemy builds and builds on one small worry that because huge. Everyone is dying. No more food. No more nothing. No more money.
But my treasures aren't to be stored here. They are to be laid up in Heaven. My Father owes the cattle on a thousand hills. My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory. I've never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread. My God has my soul and one day I'll be at the feet of Jesus, what can man do to me?! God's promises and scripture are so important to speak over our lives.
My worrying isn't to the degree it use to be, as I continue growing in God and also when He brings you through the amount do health problems I've been through, 42 surgeries, 12 hospitalizations outside of that and dozens and dozens of more in office procedures and continues to heal me time and again and continues to make a way where there seems to be no way financially... you begin to see how useless worrying can be. When I begin to rebuild during this season of life, I know that I can still work in this area. Anytime, I begin to be consumed of worry the Lord brings me to this verse and it calms me down! God begin to show me how when we are consumed with worry it reflects a lack of trust in His sovereignty, provision, and care. Our human fleshy side takes over and we shift the focus to self and the cycle starts. When I shift my focus back to God where it should be and focus on things unseen, not things seen, the worry diminishes. I can worry while I am feasting on God's promises. NEVER LET THE LIES OF THE ENEMY GET LOUDER THAN THE PROMISES OF GOD!
I was praying and this was the word He desires for me to share with you:
• Stop Comparing and Rebuild! (see 2nd Corinthians 10:12 “We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.” NIV)
*Comparing often leads to complaining and the complaining spirit isn't healthy or vital for our growth in God. It leads to a persistent attitude of discontentment, grumbling, and fault-finding that reflects a lack of trust in God and often centers around self, me me me and I I I! Comparing can lead to whining! The Bible frequently warns against murmuring, citing the Israelites' grumbling in the wilderness as a prime example of unbelief. It opens up the door for a spiritual attack. Comparing and getting caught up (not comparing in a healthy way like I desired to have a stronger/closer walk with God like I see Sis so and so has)! I am referring to comparing in the sense of you are wanting this to be this way or that way! Our church doesn't do it like that church! She doesn't dress like this, act like this, etc. It becomes a danger to our walk with God when we get caught up in comparison because it shifts the focus from God's purpose to worldly standards, allowing in jealousy, pride, or insecurity. It undermines contentment, creates division in the body of Christ, and overlooks individual, God-given, unique, and valuable roles! When we stop this and rebuild we are creating an atmosphere of gratitude and thanks to God! We are realizing we all hold different convictions, different talents, walks with God. We are choosing love and peace and Christ’ worth in ourselves and others.
• Stop Waiting and Rebuild! (see Jeremiah 29:11 and Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” NIV)
What I mean by this is that you are waiting for something to happen you think should happen or want it to happen a certain way that you leads you to forget what you know is true in God's word. The plans He has for your life, and you begin to lean on your own understanding and knowledge instead of trusting Him. How many times has He told you to move forward and you say, “wait a minute hold up God I am not ready”. You get ahead of God. You're waiting on God to move and He's needing you to step out in faith and trust the plans He has for your life. There have been more than once in my life I was waiting and waiting and God said why aren't you moving. You can't rebuild it you're waiting around for it to just happen without effort on your part. God doesn't schedule His blessings and when He is saying to stop waiting and move and we don't, we are putting limitations and restrictions on God. There are times we have to wait upon the Lord and renew our strength in Him, but there are times we God is needing us to put our faith in action. Not staying in an area of your life that isn't beneficial to your growth in God. Maybe God has already dealt with you about something (a habit) or someone not being a part of your life anymore, and He is saying move forward and set the healthy boundary but you're waiting around because you just can't let go but His plans are so much better for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
• Stop Looking Back and Rebuild! (see Philippians 3:12 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” NKJV)
I looked back way too much regarding hurt and pain that it took me longer to move forward and rebuild than what it should have. October 2022 the rug was pulled out from under my feet, by January 2023, God was telling me go to the church I am a part of now. I fought him until August 2023 because I wouldn't quit looking back. Even though He had told me in 2022, “Kimberly move forward and DON'T LOOK BACK LEST YOU TURN INTO A PILLAR OF SALT”. Don't go back to what was, you'll get caught in the crossfire and it'll destroy you. And, though I didn't and won't go back into a place of toxicity. I couldn't move forward for a period of time. Yet, God held me and was more than patient with me. Story about strep throat and stripped my vocal cords that summer. So that was my “I didn't go to Ninevah” right away experience! I had to stop wanting to hold all churches accountable for what I had been through in the past! And, I realized that was what I was doing and it was blocking me from moving forward at the time to rebuild!
• Stop Fearing and Rebuild! (see Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ NKJV)
Fear falls in the same line as worry so I won't spend a lot of time on this one. It's natural to have fears, worries and anxieties but when it consumes your life to the point that you can't see God's promises or stand on His word or move past it.. that's where the stronghold and hindrance begins to bind up your life.
I will say though that the Lord has taught me there is a difference. Fear is in the moment and worry is in the future. We often say I am worried that this might, could, would happen! Worrying is like taking the fear and adding past experiences, imagination, nightmares, thoughts, and feelings or adding what future events might happen. Fear a lot of times we go into “fight or flight” mode because we are consumed with impending thoughts of doom or danger. We can't get stuck in this vicious cycle though. We have to turn it over to God and let Him have the reigns.
Fear acts as a powerful deterrent to rebuilding our lives, relationships, or walk with God by anchoring us in survival mode, prioritizing COMFORT over growth, and distorting our perception of risk. Fear puts us in a “freeze” stuck in a loop cycle that is a hindrance to our rebuilding of faith (the enemy's greatest tools are hindrances and distractions). Trust me, I know. Sit down to try to study or read the Bible or even during a church service... BUT WE HAVE TO BIND THOSE UP AND PLOW RIGHT ON THROUGH THEM!
When trust is broken—by betrayal, loss, or trauma—fear whispers doubts and convinces us we can't rebuild. We can't move past this. Well in the words of the Zach Williams’ song: “Fear is a Liar”
Chorus: “Fear, he is a liar. He will take your breath. Stop you in your steps. Fear, he is a liar. He will rob your rest. Steal your happiness. Cast your fear in the fire. ‘Cause fear, he is a liar.
I am a walking and talking testimony that He can deliver you from this stronghold and bring you to a place of stability. Here is a word that comes out of my prayer time regarding this:
• Stop Being Angry and Rebuild! (see Psalm 37:8 “Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret (worry)—it only causes harm.” NJKV * NLT says do not lose your temper in place of do not fret.)
Never go to bed angry right? One of the most overused scriptures in the Bible, “be angry and sin not”, or the story of “Jesus got angry and overturned the tables in the temple”. He had legitimate reason for that but don't be thinking the social media meme is cool of we need to be like Jesus and start flipping tables! There's a difference between being angry and STAYING ANGRY!
I am talking tonight about how these areas are consuming your life or stopping your growth in God! Anger that has taken root in your heart and maybe caused bitterness or un-forgiveness that has creeped in and we are back to Jesus speaking to his disciples and followers in Matthew 6, “14. If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
It becomes a spiritual barrier. It blocks your peace with God. It becomes unhealthy and hinders your prayer, time with God, fellowship with Him and others. Not forgiving, not stopping the anger can also Distort Our View of God: when we are angry, we may view God as distant or untrustworthy, especially if we blame Him for difficult circumstances. And, it can and will lead to sin in our lives. God has time and place and a purpose for anger when it's justified for judgment or correction or taking up for/protection of others. However, Jesus didn't keep flipping tables. Now what I mean is there could have been more instances where He did this and it wasn't recording in the Bible but it was justifiable. The anger didn't lead to Him moving from temple to temple and doing it to the ones who weren't buying and selling in the temple. That's what happens when we don't stop the anger and we let it build, the enemy hijacks it with his evil goal of destroying relationships and even death and destruction. Why do you think there are so many angry people sitting in prison cells because they murdered someone over anger. We have to go all the way back to Genesis, the first book of the Bible, when brother killed brother because of what Anger and jealousy. Cain became intensely angry and depressed when God accepted Abel’s superior sacrifice but rejected his own, leading to jealousy and murderous rage. Despite God’s warning to master his emotions, Cain's jealousy and entitlement led him to lure his brother into a field and murder him with a rock. making him the first murderer.
Our anger may become a weapon or a shield, meaning that we’re not relying on the armor of God for our protection and we’re not seeking to be made perfect in God’s power. As followers of Christ, we must strive to harness our anger to bring glory to God—not to ourselves. We are becoming mindful of our emotions of asking God to help us with this. With the loving guidance of the Holy Spirit, I believe we can change our default response to anger in ways that invite God to work through us for important, life-giving purposes. When I begin to rebuild in this area, because in my younger days it didn't take much to trigger anger for me, God's healed me, helps me and taught me it's for correction and to motivate righteousness action and strengthen our dependance on Him and know 100% vengeance is mine saith the Lord, not for us to promote vengeance.
• Stop Reminiscing and Rebuild! (see Isaiah 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” NKJV)
*Now this is one that keeps us in a chokehold most times as Christians. That one traumatic incident in our lives we play it OVER AND OVER like a broken record until it's stuck on the repeat button and the enemy has us trapped in the reminiscing of that bad situation or maybe a good situation that you wanted to stay in but God said that was for a season and I need you to REBUILD and move forward! If that former thing (event, issue, trauma, etc has got your mind on a replay and your spinning your wheels or going around and around with it like a hamster on a wheel we need to pray God help us to stop dwelling on that and rebuild!)
• Stop Wondering (what could've been) and Rebuild! (See Colossians 3:2 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” NKJV)
*Focus shift back to God!
*I know it's easier said the done sometimes, but trust that what was doesn’t even compare to WHAT IS about to be "rebuilt", because Jesus will be right in the middle of it all! There will be rebuilding (and restoring) in 2026! I feel that! I believe that! Whatever your situation is! Let us shout for joy! You thought it would destroy you, but God has the power and ability to restore, renew, refresh, repair, and rebuild what you thought would ruin your life! He doesn't discount what you've walked through, but He loves to mend and fix what's broken! He makes the latter days greater than the former days! He stays close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18)! There's a rebuilding of FAITH this year! Keep trusting God!
Romans 8:18 – "The pain that you have been feeling can’t be compared to the joy that is coming!"
God is Within Her!
I just need to thank and praise God for the times of testing and those ashes in my life that have brought beauty and birthed ministry into me! Those struggles have only strengthened my faith in God and my dependence on Him, and those trials only continue to grow me spiritually! The molding, shaping, and pruning isn't easy and it's hurtful at times, but it's necessary as children of God to go through those "refiners fire" and "growing pains" seasons! God is worthy to be praised, and He is worthy of my number 1 loyalty! He is honored through my obedient and thankful heart! He is my full dependence! He is my reason for speaking and living! He's taught me the importance of living sanctified and set apart for Him! He's taught me how to fully rely on Him! Through it all I have learned to trust in Jesus and depend upon God's Word! I feel like someone needs to know and be reminded of this. When it doesn't make sense yet, it will in God's time! If no one gets your journey but God and you, that's all that matters! Your journey isn't supposed to be the same as someone else's! We all take different steps, but God orders them! Don't get weary in well doing! Don't give up! 🩷🙌🏻
Pray for God's Discernment!
We are living in the days where the tricks of the enemy are becoming slicker and greater than ever before! It's imperative that children of God stay prayed up and on guard and watchful and cautious! Just because something has "Jesus" attached to its name doesn't mean Jesus is in it. Be careful! Be cautious! Be prayerful! Be mindful! Wolves are out there dressed in sheep's clothing everyday claiming to "know the word of God". The enemy will imitate and mimic in any way that he can to get your eyes turned away from God and focused where they don't need to be! Be careful what/who you get involved with or caught up in. If something doesn't feel right in your spirit, if it doesn't sit right, you better not ignore those red flags. The enemy sends others on his behalf, to try to imitate the word and moving of God and His Holy Spirit, with the intention of only destroying and devouring you. If there is a disconnect you're feeling, a weeping and heavy weight your feeling, it's not always a concerning and bad thing on your part, it's the Lord's way of protecting you, the Holy Spirit is grieving, and God is also likely showing you this isn't something that you need to be a part of to push you forward in Him! It's something the enemy is using to distract, hinder, or try to detour your walk with God and the plans He has for your life! Again, be cautious and be mindful and stay prayed up and in tune with God and keep your eyes focused on Him! Stay in the Word of God, study to show thyself approved, and see that what you're allowing in your heart/mind/soul truly lines up with the word of God! The enemy will twist and tweek things to make it sound like it's okay, and he's sly as a fox! The gift of discernment is the greatest/most needed spiritual gift! Pray for God's wisdom and discernment now more than ever! Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world! (And that is scripture.)
Be Battle Ready Not Battle Weary!
Thankful for this on time word from the start of our church revival services this week:
"Be battle ready, not battle weary"'!
Putting on the full "armor of God" daily, stay prepared, resilient, and equipped for life's challenges knowing the Lord will give you His strength to endure; He will fight for you, you need only to be still, the battle belongs to the Lord (being battle ready) rather than becoming exhausted, defeated, and giving up... if you sit down, don't stay down (becoming battle weary). I'm human, so I've always said you may see me struggle, but you'll never see me quit! Don't allow the enemy to harass you with his lies of discouragement and deception; the enemy's greatest tools are hindrances and distractions! Keep your eyes focused on Jesus! The battle isn't easy but oh when you're on the other side... you'll receive that fresh oil straight from the throne! You'll receive a spiritual refresh that will renew, revitalize, restore, rejuvenate, and revive your soul!
"Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
God Has You Covered in 2026!
As we continue into 2026, just know that God has you covered on all sides. I came out of prayer and the Lord quickened my spirit to share this word from Him... it was simply this, "I am going to take care of you. He says, His Spirit is among you. Trust Him for your needs and surrender it to Him. Allow Him to give you peace and strength. Allow Him to give you direction. He is your God. Lay your needs at His feet. Allow Him to carry the burdens. Again, allow Him to give you peace and strength. Again, He will do to depend on and trust in Him once more as He is faithful to His word."
Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"...
