Be of Good Courage!

Life consists of conflicts and spiritual battles and attacks. You and I will always be fighting something. Whether it is others bad attitudes, hindering spirits, spiritual opposition, or persecution. This is why we must not give up but endure the race in life and trust God to carry us through to the finish. I read some where one time, if you have the attention of the enemy, you also have the attention of God

A battle always precedes a breakthrough. How we handle the problems and whether we get tired and give up depends on our resolve. God is for you and has given you complete authority over the forces of darkness ( Luke 10:19). You can overcome these dominions at any level (whether it be powers, principalities, rulers of darkness, or spiritual wickedness) with the three weapons in your arsenal: God's Word, prayer, and fasting. Daniel used these three weapons for twenty one days to overcome the prince of Persia. When Daniel spoke the word, prayed, and fasted those three weeks, the archangel Michael came to do battle with this spirit and won. When you speak God's word, heaven moves to do your bidding. You are putting the forces of heaven against the forces of hell and God always wins. Be of good courage and don't give up!

Broken Concrete Block!

Repost from 2015: The broken concrete block: what it represents in my life... a few weeks ago my daddy came home from work to find this block had been moved from behind the barn to under our window behind the house. No doubt someone tried to break in, but it broke and crumbled.... God was there and I believe He prevented the house from getting broken into... yes, you are angry but you pray for the person's soul, praise God for His protection and do your best to go on... but there the broken concrete block lay and you see so much hurt going on, so much hate in this world, people being tortured and killed everyday for no reason or because they are Christians...God is still there... you see family members or friends or church family going through health issues, getting bad reports, suffering, declining health, but still...God is bigger and God is still there... You see so many hurting and seem to be forgotten or feel that way, and through tears and hurt you realize the Lord gave you the means and opportunity to minister to them so go through that open door and be His hands and feet, don't wait on someone else to do the ministry He has called you to do... God is there; still there... through stress and worry you realize tomorrow may not come, but if the Lord tarries, He has provided a much needed vacation for you and you praise Him for it and don't feel guilty. It is good to take time for yourself to regain strength and focus... God is here, God is there, God is everywhere... you get home from church and get a call from your daddy and find out the debit card has been compromised but the bank closed the card and declined a $400+ charge, and though a $100+ is pending, it will be reversed. Yes, you are frustrated but... God is still there. Once again you pray for the person's soul, thankful you still have money and move forward.

I keep this picture in my phone gallery, because this broken concrete block represents my brokeness... those times when the crumbled pieces of my hurt, disappointments, sorrows, pain, frustrations, anger, depression, sadness cloud my mind and fill my eyes with tears... I know God cares about those tears, and I know God is still there! When you feel broken, alone and like no one cares... God cares and God is there! Though the pieces are crumbled now... I pray daily for God's hand of protection, guidance, direction, favor and blessings... and that His Holy Angels encamp around me... knowing that He is coming to get me one day to take me to my Heavenly home...where the broken pieces will be put back together forever... not for evil purposes but pure and holy purposes... always remember that in the midst of it all... God is still there!!

God Has The Power!

I am approaching the 3 year anniversary of the birth of my blog. I'm thankful for the continual healing God has brought into my life since beginning the blog. I am still in awe that without paid ads of this blog, God has allowed it to be viewed almost 36,000 times in 120 countries, as of October 2020. Considering there are only 195 recognized countries, it boggles my mind. All 379, current number, blog posts have been viewed by multiple people other than myself. But as someone who has always felt compelled to do missionary work, I know God made a way for that through this blog. The emails I've received from people in other countries let's me know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being shared all over the world through my obedience with this blog. I've printed and saved every email received, along with my response. People just wanting hope, needing encouragement, deciding not to give up because of reading something I was obedient in posting. Something powerful happend earlier this year, when I received a blog comment from a lady in desperate need of Jesus. She informed me that she ended up on my blog after searching for pornargrapy, she didn't know how it happened but she then commented that she knew there was a God after that happened and she was desperate to then believe and turn her life over to Him. Folks, that's the power of God. That's proof that God is still compelled to pull people to Him, and He desires to not give up on us. It's proof that everything the enemy means for evil, God will turn around for good. All of the evil on the internet, God has the power to redirect a soul to the good.

Prayed Through!

Growing up the saints of God taught me to spend much time in prayer. I remember, many times over, my knees and the calves of my legs being sore the first few days of the week after spending time on my knees at the altar at church during both Sunday services... as I prayed, wept, and waited on God. Time was never an issue during the altar call, because I was raised to pray until I had "prayed through" = until the burden lifted and the peace/presence of God spoke to my spirit, while I felt light as a feather walking out of those church doors. PRAYER is so powerful to your spirit and soul. Prayer will release your troubled thoughts and deliver your soul. Prayer will free you from the turmoil of this world’s entrapments and keep you anchored in truth. Jesus taught us to listen to His voice. He taught us the manner and the method to pray. He sent us the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, to lead us into all truth. There’s something powerful that happens to your inner self when you pray until you've "prayed through" with understanding. Time has also taught me that praying until you've "prayed through" is not confined to a designated place (i.e. church altar)... it is portable, too. You can pray anywhere and everywhere. Time and growing in Christ has also taught me that prayer is not to try and manipulate God in getting “clearance” for your wants and desires... BUT to encounter a freshness of His Spirit in your life that will not only make it easier to bear the weight of this world, it will also establish PEACE in your life. I don't know what else we're going to face, but I believe praying until we've "prayed through" is not only missing in the daily lives of most Christians these days, but it is also missing in the majority of the churches moving forward in the right direction. We've got to get back to praying until we've "prayed through"!

God is speaking... I'm listening!

God is speaking... I'm listening. Every day is not a good day, nor has most of 2020 been good, but you need to be encouraged, take a deep breath, smile, and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit to receive and keep going and trust His process. Trust the process, in which God is taking you through to prepare you for your promise. I find peace in knowing that with every promise there comes a process. Let me break it down in this way. In Jeremiah 18:6, it talks about the potter and the clay. The process of becoming a pot from a lump of clay can’t be a pleasant one. The clay is shaped, left to set, and then put in a furnace. But at no point does the clay stop having a purpose. Although at times it may be difficult to see what God is doing with you or even this year for that matter, He promises that He is working on you and molding you to be more like Him. We’re a work in progress and nothing is stronger than our Potter’s commitment to finishing what He began. The process doesn’t always make sense, and it doesn’t always feel good, but there is a promise on the other side urging you to just hold on, trust God, and remain faithful even when you want to quit. Moses waited 80 years for a ministry that lasted 40 years—two-thirds of his life was spent getting ready; trusting the process to get to the ministry and still trusting the process while in ministry. Jesus even had to trust the process of His heavenly Father's plan for Him as He suffered and died on the cross. Prayer is what keeps us going through the process, so when we pray let’s actually converse with God. Tell Him what’s bothering us, what’s hurting us, share with Him your concern and fears like you would with a best friend or your earthly parent. Trust the process, in which God is taking you through to prepare you for your promise. ♡

My Presence!

"My world is crying for My presence. My people are dying for My presence. My people in other parts of the world have literally lost their life seeking My presence. Be hungry for My presence for it cost Me everything to come and walk among you,” says the Lord your God.

Consider It Pure Joy!

God has not forgotten where you (we) are. Be certain of that. He transformed Saul the persecutor of Christians to Paul the preacher witnessing for Christ. You think God can't bring you out of what you're in and set you free, think again?! You think He can't deliver us out of what's going on this year? Think again?! Everything is bringing us one step closer to eternity with Him, for those living for Him. It doesn't mean you (we) will not suffer in the process, but oh what is waiting on the other side will be far greater than any persecution you'll (we'll) face on this earth. {JAMES 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."}
