God is Good Even in the Bad!

"God never takes something away without replacing it with something better." I've said it before and was adamant about it. However, God has recently revealed something to me about this statement that has been eye opening. Saying that God will replace the lost or broken things in your life IS TRUE in that it is Christ who makes us whole and complete, but even then it’s not the promise of perfection or a life that is “better.” God isn’t “good” because we get a front row parking spot or a promotion at work, and then “bad” because someone cuts us off in traffic, or we lose a job. This kind of thinking leads us into the ideology that says if my life is not going well, God is not good. No. God is good regardless of your life situation. Yes and Amen!

2 Corinthians 1:20 says the promises of God are “Yes” and “Amen”. Yes means “yes”. The promises of God are not “yes” then “no”. They are not “I don’t know” or “Maybe so?”. The promises of God are “Yes! It is done!” •Will He save you? “Yes!” •Will He heal you? “Yes!” •Will He deliver you? “Yes!” •Will He set you free? “Yes!” •Will He supply your needs? "Yes!"  Claim God's promises today and stand on them!  *Scripture references added* God will save you in the physical sense: Isaiah 35:4 - Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you."  God will save you spiritually: For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. ~John 3:16-17 Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mo...
