The devil will do anything that he can to hinder or try to stop what God is doing to move in your life, but the enemy cannot stop God's plans. Don't you know satan cannot stop GOD's words, His Holy Spirit, His power, His plans, His authority. The enemy strives to cause what I call the "d list": disappointments, discord, deception, distractions, and disturbances to interfere with what God is trying to do, but he cannot stop it. Be confident in knowing that God is in control completely and He is still moving and hearing your prayers and pleas in the midst of the battle! Trust that His promises are Yes and Amen!
My prayer is that many people, across this world, will be encouraged and uplifted by reading even one of these posts. The birth of this blog brought much healing into various areas of my life. If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will see a link to the post on the birth of this blog and why I named the blog "becoming better women". Even though I want to reach everyone, this was about helping myself learn to keep growing in Christ "Christ like". I may struggle, but I will never quit.

Ephesians 3:20
We all have weak spots and areas of inconsistency in our character. Until we see Jesus face to face, we will need His guidance and correction. He wants to take us from strength to strength; from glory to glory. Ephesians 3:20 tells us that He wants to do abundantly above and beyond ALL that we could ever ask or think, but there’s a clincher in this verse; it is according to His work within us. To the extent that He is allowed to work in us, will be the extent that He does great things through us. After pondering this idea a little more, I envisioned a valley of dry bones. Bones from marriages, relationships, and dreams abandoned because many people refused to die to themselves, to humble themselves, and to let God have His way in their lives. Point blank: they refused to grow in the Lord and let Him refine. If you are in a season of refining, lean in. Trust the loving hand of your precious Savior and know that He will lead you to the other side. Refuse a sense of entitlement and don’t demand to be understood. Instead, humble yourself and seek to understand what the Lord is doing around you. He will faithfully lead you and you will be strengthened as you go. On the other side of this refining time is a fresh perspective and new mercies. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and let Him produce great work in and through you.
