My prayer is that many people, across this world, will be encouraged and uplifted by reading even one of these posts. The birth of this blog brought much healing into various areas of my life. If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will see a link to the post on the birth of this blog and why I named the blog "becoming better women". Even though I want to reach everyone, this was about helping myself learn to keep growing in Christ "Christ like". I may struggle, but I will never quit.

March Forth In Victory!
I know that the devil is trying to zap everything out of Christians (from our hope, peace, strength joy, healing, salvation, etc.), but God is still in complete control and on the throne. Goodness, I know 2021 hasn't been kind to me in just 2 shorts months, and it seems to have not been kind already to a lot of other people on my friends list (as I read posts ok my social media page). So much hurt and sickness, grief and pain, etc. As I was praying tonight, thanking God for helping me to overcome this exhaustive asthma exacerbation I fought through all year, and knowing He's paved the way for me to receive the right treatment(s) I need moving forward after 2 years of fighting... and as I am feeling fresh breath in my lungs tonight after a much needed breathing treatment with different meds... I hear, in my spirit, "March is on the way Monday, so keep going and march forth in victory. Let others know this too. God is still a restoring and healing God and don't lose sight of that. His ways are higher than mine." Y'all, I have a fresh expectancy in my heart tonight, knowing nothing is ever in vain with God, even when it hurts or doesn't make sense, and He will use it all for His glory, knowing that for everything the enemy tries to zap out of us, God will give us just what we need to keep marching forward with Him. Someone(s) worrying and fretting over how to solve a situation that seems out of your hands, but God is saying be still and know that He is God, and He's already on the scene at work on your behalf, so in His presence just stay and lay all of your heavy burdens down! Now is not the time to lose sight of God; keep your focus on Him!

I Love You More!
John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, that I have said to you." ♡ Thank God for those times the Holy Spirit has come to lift me up, strengthen and comfort me. Thank God for those times when He has touched a friend and spoken through them as a human instrument to lift me up, strengthen and comfort me. And, thank God for those times when He has used me as a tool to lift others up, strengthen and comfort them. While praying for the Holy Spirit to bring comfort to those I know, who are facing giants of doubt during tough trials right now, the words of this song came to me, (link to song below): "I love You more than I did before... Cause when I needed You... You were there to pull me through, I love You still... Though I don't understand Your will, Because You've been so faithful to me, Lord, I love You more!"
https://youtu.be/miLxH1Bx4Ps ...Sonya Isaacs, listen to her testimony too. God blessed her with 3 beautiful children, even though the loss of a baby due to stillbirth was devastating, I know the Lord gave her a beautiful testimony through the words of this song she wrote. I was reminded how He isn't a respector of persons. I know the same Comforter was there for her, just as He is for those facing tragedy or tough trials right now.

Battle Belongs!
I personally know people this week who are grieving the loss of a loved one, while others are holding on to hope that their sick family member will pull through, maybe others are in the middle of shock and confusion from a broken home, or a marriage that fell apart out of nowhere... but in my time of feeling heaviness for these people and prayer time over so many needs... I was led to this song... I pray that someone is encouraged through some of the words from this song. In the middle or so much going on in this world... I feel so strongly God calling me out to speak life into these situations and for Him to do the impossible in seemingly hopeless situations, reminding others Who the battle belongs too! ♡ "When all I see is the battle, You see my victory... When all I see is the mountain, You see a mountain moved... And as I walk through the shadow, Your love surrounds me... There's nothing to fear now, for I am safe with You... So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees... With my hands lifted high... Oh God, the battle belongs to You... And every fear I lay at Your feet... I'll sing through the night... Oh God, the battle belongs to You." --- "Battle Belongs" by Phil Wickham

Learning To Make Adjustments!
The Lord says to remind His people of this:
"The gates of hell will not prevail"!! That means they are not going to overpower or be victorious over God's will and plans for His church (people)! Let me tell you, I've spent much time in the Lord already this year crying out to Him for various needs, and He hasn't let me down yet just as He hasn't in my previous years of living. What's been ringing in my ears more than ever the last couple of weeks is this "learning to make adjustments" and keep on going and trusting God! The covid hit, we made adjustments and keep going... a new job happens, we make adjustments and learn the job and keep going.... we get sick and make adjustments to our routine to get better... we have a fleshy moment, we make adjustments to walk in the spirit the next time temptation comes our way... the world seems nothing but chaos... we make adjustments to our mindset and get our focus back to where our eternal home is... and keep going. If I have learned anything already in 2021 it's this... God's not finished with me yet, and it's my job to keep making adjustments and pushing forward in Him... reminding others that He's the same delivering God He was for those in the Bible who themselves had to make adjustments along the way, keep going and trusting in Him while knowing this... "the gates of hell will not prevail against God's church"!

We Can't Forget That!
We can't forget that God remains a delivering God. Nowhere in the Bible are Christians promised they will be free from problems or suffering. Rather, Jesus said in this world you shall have tribulations but take heart for I have overcome the world, see John 16:33. God still delivers His children in His will and way. It's by faith that we continue to trust Him through it all. I am reminded that God allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery so He could turn his dilemma into victory. God allowed Daniel to be put into the lion's den that He might deliver him from the mouths of the lions. God allowed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be thrown into the fiery furnace that He might deliver them from the heat of the flames. And, God allowed Paul to be shipwrecked that He might save him in the midst of a violent storm. Our God is able to take care of us in the most terrible circumstances... we can't forget that.
